If it was Iron Man and Hulk fighting and destroying buildings in Africa plus Tony's creation that almost destroyed the world with Vibranium why would BP be team Stark?

I was kind of warm on the entire thing until this shot.

I figure all the fast movement is to off-balance Tony, but even so, he should not be jobbing that hard...

To me, it reads like Stark is really conflicted about fighting them. He's not even trying.

Looks really good. Can't wait to see what they do with the fight scenes in this going by that final scene in the trailer.

Chest Kicking 2: The Kickening :D

Black Panther looks sick, and hopefully they give Tony much better motivation for his actions in the film compared the comic.

Kept waiting for spiderman reveal at the end but still an amazing trailer! Will watch 10 more times tomorrow.

Damn no shot of spidey.

There's no way they'd bust out Spidey this early. They'll probably do what Disney is doing with Luke in Star Wars - keep his reveal a secret for as long as possible (likely because he's just not in the movie all that long).

This is how action scenes should be shot. Steady shots and no quick cuts every second. Beautiful.

Based on that trailer, the Russo brothers clearly learned a lot from making Winter Soldier. The camera work seems slightly less frenetic and more focused this time around.

Russos still got it

I was like "Okay" until this shot.

Not read the comics, but I get the impression that Stark does something to deserve this looking at people's comments but the trailer does a good job in making me feel bad for him!

Well, in the comic version of Civil War (which is radically different than this one), Tony basically became a neo fascist asshole. We'll see how far he goes in the MCU.

Because Tony's position in this is that the lack of oversight and complete freedom they've had is what has led to fuckups like that, I believe

Maybe Bucky killed his father? I feel that everyone on Team Tony either has a beef with Bucky or is friends with Tony.

I just don't understand this forums dislike of Age of Ultron. It's mystifying.

Well it's not very good. The only thing that is mystifying is people acting like it's considerably worse than the usual rabble. It's really no worse than the vast majority of Mahvel's productions. Maybe people expected two hours of dem Hulk bashes Loki feels.

When BP appeared the first time, he wanted to infiltrate The Avengers. Maybe this is his plan again. Then it makes sense, that he joins Starks team - To seek revenge.

I am calling it now BP is playing everyone, it will probably be a plain to get back all that vibranium and get a bead on Klaw.

I imagine he fills the Spider-Man role in this film and switches sides.

The movie seems to be a lot less cut and dry about who is right than the comic Civil War.

Was cool at the start and then more and more the civil war crap and avengers kept seeping into my cap movie. Ugh. I wish this could just be a captain America movie about him, falcon, Bucky, a villain, etc. not another spring board for the next big event that just leads to the even bigger big event, and so on

They're only slightly adapting that story more than AoU adapted the Age of Ultron story. It's the name and basic premise of Cap and Iron Man splitting the team and that's it.

Ok -- I'm going to have go with wonky choice, then. Hopefully they've got something quite special up their sleeves. As flawed as it is, Civil War has an incredible concept. It's full of shocking moments, surprisingly political themes, and a massive sense of scale. This just looks like The Winter Soldier Reloaded.

they need to work on those punches in that gif, cap especially looks slow as hell.

love that overcrank with the shield passes though. reminds me of that scene when the wife tosses furiosa that boltcutter in fury road. it's a trick that could end up being abused if not used properly but i like it here too.

So stupid that Iron Man is getting beat down. I'm at salt overload.

Makes no sense at all considering what he's done in the movies this far, it should have been *barely* equal with both of them against Tony.

I'm gonna see it of course, but damn that is pretty lame. I hope it's plot or some other such bullshit where he's holding back or something, otherwise- stupid.

So why call it Civil War if that was the case?

I don't know if it's likely, but it looks like the Director Brothers are looking to surpass the Final Battle in The Raid with this Cap/Bucky vs Ironman fight.... ....and if they do, we all win!

Well, we agree they're on the same level. We disagree on what that level is, but whatevs.
