It's possible that SSM had to start anew once they let Stig and the rest go, or maybe they started proper production once they moved into their new studio back in Aug 2014.

There was also the recent Onimusha trademark in Japan. Some speculation is that it'll be announced at PSX.

While I was being sarcastic, there is also a begrudging truth to the statement as well. I don't like that I'm willing to spend $15-20 on a PC port for trophies, but dammit I'm sick like that.
Just don't make it a big deal Square, because it's not.
I have some friends trying to get in on this event now, but Saturday is apparently sold out. I feel like I read somewhere that tickets are also sold at the door but cash only. Can anyone confirm this? I've been shopping around a lot of events and all this info is jumbled in my brain.

Really? On the website, it shows Saturday and Sunday still available. Where does it say sold out?
If it's still coming in "the first half of 2016" this is the last normal PS conference until release (besides E3 which is too late) so date/price seems likely at this.

anyone else entertain the possibility of a level 5 title being present? solely because dark cloud 1+2 being present due to ENHANCED compatibility?
I still think it's e3 2016 given that it's suppose to be a "global title"

I'm also fairly confident that their new IP will feature online multiplayer of some sort somewhat akin to MMOs or like WKC or xenobladish, create a character and the companioning customization aspects, and maybe a convoluted battle system/ mechanics (some pseudo turn based, real time combat shit)

I plan on watching the keynote on the PS4 YouTube app but unfortunately I have visitors coming up about half way through. Can I pause the stream and pick up from where I left off or will I have to wait until the whole thing is uploaded to YouTube afterwards?

Is there going to be some type of E3-like presentation where they talk about statistics but also have surprise reveals of new stuff coming out? New trailers and stuff? And can I watch it anywhere?
Or is it just a thing people attend and play games at?
If this is like E3, is there a good chance they announce stuff like the FF7 PSX port or PS2 classics and put them up on PSN at the same time?

Any legit reason to carry a Vita to this thing (demos, etc)? I usually stuff a 3DS in my bag at shows for streetpasses and such but this being a Sony show the Vita would seem to make more sense.

There's no rumors about more Final Fantasy VII. Square Enix can choose to show the Remake in January or February if they so wish. They just said, that the next time they have something for us, is "winter".
Dark Cloud Remastered is not a thing either. It's just the PS2 backwards compatibility, and Dark Cloud being one of the games for it.

Maybe we'll even get to see early footage of the new Valkyria game.
All I'm hoping for is for GOW4 to be shown, FF7 to have a trailer and a KH3 trailer maybe from D23 that just recently passed. I don't think FFXV will be shown because of their blowout in March of next year but I'm still hoping for something.

Don't get hyped. I'm pretty sure Shinobi's just alluding to the fact that we know they have at least one PS4 project happening.
Is there any other reason for the speculation outside of the trademark?
