I do wonder how the early PAL releases that were (often badly converted) 50hz only will be handled. I don't know how well PS4 supports 50hz (it might not at all), so perhaps they will be the US versions, with EFIGS added.

I would think that they'd just be emulated Ntsc versions.

Yeah I think I'll go with Rogue Galaxy I mean I like both games a lot but I think RG would be good to tackle first. I'm so glad they added trophies, these games are worth every cent as is but now it's just added value imo. I really hope we get a ton of JRPG games I'd love to have Wild Arms 3.

Might check out Rogue Galaxy too though my little brother had it back in the day and said its kinda boring and grindy iirc.

Rogue Galaxy is awesome .... BUT...

There are optional hunting badges for every enemy [kill X], and some are hidden/spawn only in very small areas of the map. So if you have OCD you'll be running around finding them forever.

And... then there is crafting, which starts out semi-complex and then adds factories into the mix, which may be overwhelming.

BUT... if you can get past all that, it's clearly a fantastic game and I really enjoyed the characters/etc even though i burnt out on it.

No, Bounty Hunter and the other PS2 games already available through the Battlefront bundle didn't have platinums, so these won't either I imagine.

How much better are these going to look compared to the emulated PS2 games on PS3?

In term of image quality and crispness, it will look HD because the image is being rendered at 1080p (or some other HD resolution, if Digital Foundry's findings generalize to all of these PS2 games). The models and textures aren't being improved, though, so in some cases you're just going to get a much clearer look at an ugly ass game. Still better than playing emulated PS2 games on PS3, which IIRC are rendered in their original resolution and upscaled.

Good to see Fantavision too, it's a pretty basic game but I played that a lot on the PS2. Hopefully these will be region are too like PS4 games, there may be some only released in certain regions.
