PS Nation.

Here are my predictions.

Realistic Expectations
  • 3rd party talk about Black Ops III, Battlefront and Destiny and how they have made the PS4 successful this holiday season.
  • PS4 has reached 35 million sales.
  • PS1/2 classics info revealing even more PS2 games coming to PS4.
  • God of War IV full reveal including gameplay; the game will melt eyes.
  • New Uncharted 4 gameplay (perhaps carrying on from the cutscene shown at TGA on Thursday).
  • Yakuza 5 "available now" making PSN crash
    (and a PS4 port).
  • New The Last Guardian footage that will end on a cliffhanger and make people cry.
  • New FF7R footage that will cause GAF outrage.
  • Firmware 4.0 talk (long rumored 4K support, friend notifications etc).
Now let's turn it up a notch
  • A new Crash Bandicoot revealed for PS4 causes the internet to crash.
  • Agent comes back after all these years
and is now being developed by Romobodo games instead of Rockstar.
  • RIME comes back from the dead
and has turned into an online only MOBA.
  • We can finally change our PSN name
    for $15.
  • Brand new Onimusha revealed for PS4
    on kickstarter.

Very realistic set of expectations. I believe firmware talk is likely though, version 4.0, to be released mid way through 2016 or similar.

I would love a FF12 HD announcement, but there's already a lot of FF projects in the pipeline.

Agreed. I would be concerned SE would spreading themselves too thin if they had been working on FF12 HD before releasing all the FF12 spinoffs like world of final fantasy and others. I do however hope to hear something before FF15 release.

If it's emulation I don't understand why you can't just use the original disc, even if they write the emulator to create a full disc image of the game on your hard drive and they keep the disc to authenticate when you play like current games are. This would be a boon for Sony and good business for their partners that sell used games.

There is no conceivable way Square has footage ready for FFVIIR. The idea of them announcing a game with a CG trailer and then showing gameplay of it in the same year is absolutely beyond the pale.

Just give me GOW4. I didn't play Ascension, so I don't have the same amount of fatigue for the franchise as others do. I'm ready for a new God of War.

My final final prediction

Obvious
PS2 Classics ggets metioned with logos of all the games to release. Available now
Black Ops III DLC
Destiny DLC

Street Fighter V New Character Trailer (Urien teased at the end)
Updates on Indie games such as Rime etc
Final Fantasy VII Remake Trailer 2 (apology from the troll from last year with FFVII port released now)

New game announcements
Level 5 Action RPG similar to Dark Cloud and Rogue Galaxy
God of War IV new mythology but Kratos returns
Parapa The Rapper for Vita and PSN
Ace Combat 7

the development has started a year before the announcement
so who knows

Twitch chat on playstation channel is very active and they haven't even gone live yet lol. Wonder how high the viewer counts will get. My guess is ~200k on the twitch channel.

All I want is a reveal for Fan in Street Fighter V (we all know it's happening). Anything else is gravy.
Though I wouldn't mind a DLC tease for Alex or Urien.

I'm expecting Fan (there's a tournament after the show so I think they would want everybody playable) and maybe an overall trailer regarding features and modes.

Will make my final list of expecations for the event :).

-Show opens with GT Sport, Horizon, Last Guardian or Dreams trailer; new and has content not shown during E3
-Sony members come on stage and start the event

-Sucker Punch then comes on stage and shares how much they loved working with the Infamous IP and say "We would love to work with an iconic superhero that swings around NYC, and thanks to Marvel and Sony, we are working on a game featuring Spider-Man". Trailer starts, showing off Spidey swinging all over NYC, with the trailer ending with him going toe-to-toe with the Ryno. Trailer ends and Sucker Punch says "We can't wait to share more about this with you guys and have a great PSX :D!".
-MM comes on stage and shows of Project Dreams, but through level content, not create-mode content. Ends with promise of a Beta releasing early 2016
-Sony says "As you can see, all of our studios are hard at work on projects and we can't wait to share more about them in the future. But we would like to share what our third party partners are bring to PlayStation Nation in the future."

-Square Enix comes on stage and states "FFVII is an important game to us at Square and we want to celebrate it throughout the next two years. As you can see, we have Tiffa joining SFV as an example of this. To make fans at home happy, you can get FFVII on PS4, PS3 & PS Vita for free for the next two days :D! We also have another treat for you all as well. Take a look."
-Trailer for FFVII Remake plays; in-engine footage of Cloud fighting creatures and exploring a more open Midgar.
-Bamco comes on stage next and announces two games many gamers have wanted is finally getting localized; God Eater Resurrection and 2: Rage Burst are releasing next year on PS Vita and PS4.
-(Not Likely)- Kojima then comes on stage and tells everyone that he is working with Sony on a big project, in the styling Japanese Horror. Everyone gets very excited and Hills of Silence is announced for PS4 and PS VR.
-Activision then comes on stage and announces a new Platinum game TMNT: Mutians of Mathattan. This mirrors the style of their Transformers game but with the TMNT branding. Releasing in Summer 2016.
-Before they leave the stage, they talk about old IP's being brought back, noting Kings Quest and Gematry Wars. They then invite Shu on stage, asking him "What is the most iconic mascot of the PS1 era to you?" He says "Crash Bandicoot of course!" Activision rep smirks and says "Well, here he is; Crash is back with PlayStation!"
-Trailer appears on screen, with the iconic Crash theme playing in the background. HD Visuals, new level designs, new gimmicks and more are shown off. Crash Bandicoot Returns is the title of the game, having a fall 2016 release date.
-Sony invites Sanzaru Games and Naughty Dog to the stage, and the ND rep says "We are working with Sanzaru in making this game and we are very excited about this; Crash is home again."
-Before they leave, Sony announces the entire Crash and Spyro series on the PS1 and PS2 is releasing on PS4 and PS Vita throughout 2016.
-GT Sport Trailer is shown off and it ends with PD promising a beta early 2016.
-Naughty Dog comes back on stage to show off a new demo for UC4
-Show is about to end but Santa Monica comes on stage and says "The God of War is back!" A teaser trailer for God of War IV is shown off.

I saw Aksys Games retweeted stuff about PSX. Do we already know what they are showing, or can I get my hopes up for Zero Escape 3 screenshots or a trailer?

Do we have the OT already?

Everyone is hyping up XII HD and I don't want to build expectations!! I will literally cry if shown, whether here or at any event next year lol

I know I will be entertained, and ready to download Rogue Galaxy INSTANTLY xD

My bets for this thing:
  • Sony Bend Horror Game
  • Crash Bandicoot Reborn
  • Playstation Home 2.0 VR
  • Final Fantasy XII HD
  • Rising Thunder Console Edition
  • VibRibbon 2 with Spotify Integration
