PlayStation Experience 2015 Thread: The Year of Dreams

I don't think Sony knows what we want in vr. I want triple AAA first person shooters or action games that I can play on my couch with a controller in vr. That's all I want nice and simple k just want to see everything up close and see it in vr. I don't want move.
Edit if they want me to get vr make God of war vr and primal and I'm sold right there.
You don't represent what I'm looking for in vr at all, and I'm not convinced you understand what vr brings to the table that current platforms do not. It's not about movement, it's about presence. It doesn't make established games like God of War better.

what sony wants is small, relatively affordable games that they can invest in for a small initial userbase. Expecting them to make entirely new, ground-up VR exclusives for a sub-million addressable market is insanity.

I'm perfectly happy with fairly simple games initially, especially while developers figure out what is really comfortable and works in VR. Make them affordable to buy and I'll try them all out

Well, this VR stuff is dogshit.
Palmer Luckey will save the day... right?

I still haven't seen anything that shows me VR is the 'future of video games' like people keep telling me.
Yeah, this conference has set VR a year back, IMO. Which is saying something given that they could just make a VR version of Talos Principle and it would both look and play awesome.

Game development has just gotten too expensive, which is why you keep seeing fewer AAA games. Not the best time to be a AAA fan.
