PlayStation Experience 2015 Thread: The Year of Dreams

Méh. There was almost nothing new that's interesting for me it seems. Ni No Kuni is cool.

Everything else seemed MP and co-op focused. PGW was way better imo.

And does Sony really believe people are going to pay 300/400 euro for a VR system that plays gimicky indie games?

Not with a bang, but a whimper.
That was a pretty weak ass way to close the conference. Pretty anti-climatic if we're being honest.

Rez is not a "gimicky indie game". It's one of the best games of all time, getting a VR edition.

So stahp.

The shirt was a troll. Hahaha

Great conference. I came in expecting very little and came away with a lot of great announcements, reveals and new footage.

Needed to have a stronger finish though. Where's the crunch?

FF7, nioh, uncharted 4, ni no 2, full throttle, Rez, ace combat, ratchet, DOTT, Yakuza 0!!!

Great great stuff

I have an essay deadline in around 1 hour and decided to watch the playstation press conference instead. Thought there would be some megatons. Oh well, that's another grade down the drain thanks to Sony.

Some nice announcements but as for PS4 exclusives there was basically just two good ones in Nioh ( which might not be) and Ni no kuni

Great conference missing one big hitter and some footage of already announced games (ex: GR2, TLG, or Horizon Zero Dawn).

Other than that pretty good.

Should of closed with Ni No Kuni.

Well I guess that was okay. FFVII is the only thing that really surprised me and I'm still not sure how to feel about that. I feel like I could have left the stream after that and been none the wiser really.

After the first Ni No Kuni I'm not particularly excited about a second one.

I should probably try out Yakuza.

"Hey guys we announced like 30 new games of various genres and play types"

"but none of them are a platformer from a dead franchise from 20 years ago! Bad conference, you basically showed nothing"

I love mobas (leauge of legends) I like FPS and TPS, but foe some reason I'm already sock of this new mobas and I haven'nt even played one lol. It's like every developer is making one of those shooters/mobas.

That ending sucked, overall the conference was okay. FF7, Uncharted, Ni No Kuni II looked great. I think Rime is dead, we haven't seen it in such a long time.

It was better than last year at least. I wonder why they're not showing the other AAA stuff? Don't tell me they're all reserved for late 2016/2017 because that would mean these titles are at vey long dev periods.

2016 is already pretty packed. but also ps experience may not get the same attention e3 does, so they will save announcements for that. pretty sure that's when we'll see the crash bandicoot remake (and movie).

Something about that ending seems off... I'm pulling this out of my butt but I almost want to believe that something was pulled there at the end late.

Great show though overall so happy.

What happened

I honestly could have stopped watching after the Uncharted trailer. I understand what the other games mean to some and understand their place in the industry, but I had almost zero interest in any of the other stuff. Oh well, people are happy and that's cool. The stuff I'm interested in just wasn't at this conference and it's bound to happen.
