I hope this is a turn towards heel Reigns. Turns on Ambrose for not being there for him. Goes full beast mode. Crushes everyone - if they want to make him look strong, make him look strong.

That's the only way I can justify this fuck finish.

They actually had the crowd cheering for Roman.

Why not just give him the belt, If that's all they care about?

He's lex luger now.

trying to give reigns the daniel bryan treatment, vince is hoping people will like him and cheer for him lol

OMFG WWE can't even make a horrible faction look strong. The cameraman should have some decency and just shut the camera off and refuse to broadcast this anymore.

Booking is shit, characters are shit, and I am so TIRED of the WCW booking where the heel is ALWAYS on top. This is so played out and ridiculous.

Beating up the bad guys with a chair isn't gonna garner him any sympathy. He just looks like a psychopath now.

What the fuck are they doing to Reigns? This booking, I can't even comprehend it.

Seriously, I am starting to appreciate Rollins a much more now that this is what we have as the main event. Even the Rollins/Kane feud was more fun.

People took Seth for granted. He is way more talented and entertaining than these dudes, and most other guys on the roster.

That period of Rollins vs Cena was pretty damn great compared to this.

Didn't I fucking say you guys would end up begging for Seth Rollins by the time it was all said and done? DIDN'T I FUCKING SAY IT?!

I just don't....why? Roman "overcoming the odds" is not interesting. Why does WWE book feuds like this. End these fucking things. We've already seen Roman and Sheamus square off in some form or another for 4 weeks, which makes this match completely uneventful, but now you drag it out even further? Why is WWE so averse to the simple, age old, crowd pleasing concept of "the bad guy gets his comeuppance?" Not just with this feud, but with everything. It feels like the entire roster is just a giant mid card full of guys who are constantly fighting each other and winning/losing with no rhyme or reason.

Honestly if he did it when he had time to prime it, and it was a little slower and more deliberate -- for showmanship, like you said -- I'd be OK with it. But the fact that it's literally a quarter second when he's going for the fast punch is what kills me.
Yeah, exactly. A bit slower, a bit more theatrical and I think it would work. A modern equivalent of the people's elbow buildup, the "You Can't See Me" before the five knuckle shuffle, etc. It would work.

But it's too fast for theatricality, so it only exists... I guess mechanically? And in that sense it's just dumb and lame.

Would be good if it were. At least he's showing some fucking emotion now though.

Well maybe I'm getting my wish here... lol.

The worst part isn't that he's "overcoming odds," but that he always does. Why was this match supposed to interest us when we saw multiple renditions of this matchup every week for the past three weeks? Why was there supposed to be any tension when we've seen Roman tear apart the League of Nations for nearly one month?

It's just bad booking, bad storytelling. I get the idea is to make Reigns this perfect beast that SHOULD be champion but is held back by cheaters and the Authority, but that's just... that's bad storytelling. Why should I care about a face that can't lose unless cheated against?
