Steam Holiday Seal 2015 |OT| This isn't the account you're looking for

Hey guys.

So apparently my account is "limited" since I haven't made any purchases recently.

Thus I can't sell/buy in the market. I've been doing the queue thing throughout the sale and I am missing two cards.

The thing is apparently if I were to trade with my friends it would be held for 24 hours (or more) because of some Mobile Authenticator thing that they haven't activated.

Soooo can someone here friend me who doesn't have that restriction and trade me the two cards (3 and 11) I'm missing just so I can craft the badge and call it a day?

*edit*

Never mind it looks like it wouldn't work in time anyway even if I did trade since the 24 hour hold is on my end too. :/

Have a little question , recently i upgraded my graphics card ,got a GTX 960 and for some reason most of my games are locking in 59.8 fps when i have vsync activated , do i have to configure something to get to 60 fps with vsync?

I keep trying this but it doesn't work for me. After typing the 1v7531 on the ikaruga password popup it just redirects me to a search results page where the search query is search

1. Browser
2. Turn off NoScript/Adblock/etc. extensions if it doesn't work.

3. If on Firefox: Use Chrome.

Torn on getting Undertale. I've been leaning more on getting games I actually want to play now instead of waiting for deeper discounts (case in point, Rebel Galaxy), on the other hand I mostly want it from hype osmosis, as nothing in it just looking at it appeals to me. And Dragon's Dogma is around the corner. Hmph.

Also Rebel Galaxy is a easy top 10 of 2015 for me, played like 5 hours straight today, literal "where did the time go" moment

I've been hooked on Rebel Galaxy too, I've played 7 hours in the last 2 days.

If it doesn't look appealing, don't buy it, I was where you are and I bought it and I regret it.

And now I might have to bite on Rebel Galaxy.

The simplistic flight was a big thing for some people, though. Beyond that, it looked like my kind of game.

As for Undertale, I was underwhelmed after the first hour. Then, I came across two NPCs that formed a sort of comic duo. The understated melancholy of the game started to poke through. It took that slight comic relief to break it open.

The magic in that game doesn't flame up, like the hype will lead you to believe. It's that the whole game shimmers.

Bought Shovel Knight and reached 1600 games owned. That endless backlog of games that will never be played...

I do plan on playing Shovel Knight though

I haven't bought anything this year and I'm really tempted to buy like 12 games right now. I haven't turned on my PC in months.

Is pillars of eternity easy to get into?

There was a recent LTTP thread on it from an OP that was basically "Wow, this game was way easier to get into than I expected it to be" that had played like 3 RPGs in their life, so probably.

59.8 something FPS reporting is normal with monitors and not something to worry about. It's only if it's locked at like 59 exactly that something may be off.

I'm gonna sleep on this and decide when I wake up.

Does anyone know what time the sale ends EST? Noon?

it's fairly accessible for one of those games but it still is one of those games

it's really well tutorialized and you can customize a lot about how it plays so it suits you (i find it challenging enough in normal difficulty)

i like it quite a lot, it's a really good modernization of classic wrpg concepts

I think that if you have played D&D or any sort of Pen and Paper RPG in your life you will pick it up very easily. Doubly so if you played any of the old D&D games from Black Isle. If not, as long as you don't mind lots of reading, I'd say go for it. The game is fantastic.

Sale ends 15 hours from now.

Now about the games: If you get KotOR1 you need to get KotOR2. It's practically a law. And Civ4 is great--it has some cool mods.

The difficulty in PoE is awesome because it adds or removes enemies and tweaks mechanics, rather than just ramping up the damage and health values for enemies.

I was checking out Three Fourths Home after hearing it mentioned on the Beastcast. It has a woman named Kelly with a younger brother Ben in Nebraska, exactly describing two of my cousins. What in the world?

Gonna try for 3 months without a purchase outside of a deep discount on a wishlisted game. Ready to take my backlog seriously.

I cut my purchases back to nothing but bundles with games I thought I was interested in and great deals and I still added over 500 games this year. It's not a backlog, it's a library.

I did the reverse, stopped buying bundles if they arn't REALLY GOOD and started buying games on steam for higher prices. (Though this was a fall thing so I ended up buying much more in the earlier parts of the year)
Added about 150 games to my library last year and beat maybe 8.
Still like a 100% increase over my library I had in 2014.

I pulled the trigger on Undertale, but can only buy one other game, I'm torn between FF Type-0, Life is Strange, The Talos Principle or Rebel Galaxy. I'm kinda looking for a fun game maybe with an interesting storyline, soemthing that will keep me glued to the screen.

the corpse is cool, I don't know why people so mad to it, its give extra layer in battle/party balance and not even that hard to deal.

Yeah it's really easy to deal with and depending on how you play you often don't need to deal with them. Most heroes have attacks that can reach second and third rows and rear row enemies tend to be easy enough for the ranged heroes to take out too.

The angry reviews are a result of the early access model, some players got used to the game being one way, the devs added features which changed that so those players got upset. It's just a shame that the players don't feel that contacting the devs directly would have helped to provide feedback and they took to writing harsh reviews so get their result.

It's an awesome game. and if you're remotely interested in it I am sure you will enjoy it.

Hey guys.

So apparently my account is "limited" since I haven't made any purchases recently.

I got the eleventh! (Redemption)
You got a PM!

Ya'll play Snakebird? Picked it up since it was cheap and it had cute art, but I'm struggling pretty hard with it right now. Seems like an actual tough puzzle game.

LiS or talos between those

it speaks to the ability of obsidian's writers that i felt a bit empathetic to the spider race in eternity and ended up not killing them all

There is one enemy that is a spider that I know of which you can find on the wiki under monsters in Zone 4. Warning it has a picture. Though pixelated.
i really appreciate the thought but i think you guys don't need to worry about telling me this stuff :p

tho tbh i didn't do my research for this game haha

Then it wont be Type-0.
Life is Strange is the only choice.

We have a responsibility to.

When is the best time to buy the holiday cards, so I can craft a badge. right before it ends?

I was also locked and I have no idea why, I have been buying stuff via the steam store since forever.
Funnily enough I could still sell the event card drops I got via enhaced steam quick sell. Hope I don't get in trouble for that, lol.
