Well I mean, the stealth sections in past FF games weren't really all that great mechanically, either. Aesthetically, it looks pretty neat, though. At least in my opinion.

Let's just hope they keep them to a minimum. What they showed seemed to work well enough, but I'm not expecting them to be anything more than passable from a gameplay standpoint.

Because of the warp kill (animation btw looks really flacid, hopefully WIP) it feels less like a stealth where you need bypass threats and navigate through environment and more of a "point to these obvious waypoints in form of guards and teleport to them in a fairly linear pre-designed progression". Too early to really tell, from such a scripted showing, but I just have this feeling that these sections will simply be glorified point and click puzzles...

Ya know this whole process has actually been a live look in the dev process. Things constantly changing. Its why most people have been critical. Things always changing live before our eyes. But that's how the process is. It'll be interesting to see how this affects the game. People seem positive now. The March event will be crucial. Seeing everything in a near final state as opposed to Ep. Duscae.

I'd agree, but being able to warp in stealth situations is definitely more exciting than that garbage that was in Duscae.

I'm cautiously optimistic about stealth just because of that.
