I could see Xbox One being the last home console Microsoft do. Sony have killed it this gen (so far), combine this with a surge in PC gaming over the last few years and you have a console that both has little to offer exclusive wise (relatively speaking) and future titles seem to plan on coming out on PC anyway. A PS4+PC household seems more and more like the way to go.
Scalebound, Gears 4, Quantum Break - if they all come to the PC, I don't see what reason people like me (and I'd dare say the majority of others) who own PS4's and PC's have to invest in an Xbox One. It's a fine console, don't get me wrong, but I'm finding it harder and harder to see the appeal.
I think ultimately that by Microsoft unifying their gaming division, they might inadvertently kill off it's already failing system (compared to it's main competitor at least)
Of course, I could be very wrong - but that's just my viewpoint. At the end of the day, so long as gamers have easier access to good games, regardless of platform, we'll always be the winner.
