When I call Kakashi a jobber I'm mainly just teasing the poor dude. I've never really called him stupid by any margin. I'll give you guys Kakazu cause that's one of my favorite fights in the series so far. But Pain whooped his ass. I know the guy can fight you know it's just rarely showcased. Now Yamato that man is a jobber. Somebody mentioned his fight with Itachi. What fight? Itachi fucking mind raped him.

To be fair Pain is incredibly strong, takes on the entire village and even defeated Naruto. Itachi is incredibly strong as well. Don't worry Kakashi ain't done yet.

Will I even survive long enough to see Kakashi's next fight? I need a new streaming site cause the one I'm currently using can't even make it through two episodes, the buffering has been dogshit lately ugh. I actually tease a lot of my favorite characters.

Kakashi isn't a jobber, but he's pretty close to it. He doesn't lose most his fights like jobbers usually do. He only jobs sometimes.

Its cuz Kakshi always hangs with the top tiers. He don't play around. War arc Kakashi is best Kakashi.
Yeah they rank pretty high.
For more rivalry/friendship that's better than Naruto & Sasuke look at Slam Dunk Sakuragi & Rukawa.
Although Slam Dunk did help teach Kishimoto a lesson I think he lost sight of late in Naruto imo.

He won at least 2 other battles after that. The purpose of a jobber is to lose to somebody to prop them up. Kakashi can hang in battles. You'll see.

Good cause when he's going all out it usually leads to a really good fight. I hope they're on the level of Kakashi vs Kakuzu.

So Madara made a new Pain squad...everybody gets eye bullshit power...still waiting for more Sasuke. Who drew the Power arc and why couldn't they draw the entire show?
One of them is and it's pretty awesome. Sadly it was the last awesome fight we've had, and that was like 50 episodes ago. Maybe more lol

Dear sweet jesus. I'm already about to hit a huge filler wall soon. After 302 there's a ton of filler. Any of it even good?
But it's so nice looking, looks like a completely different show. Looks like Production IG's work. Kabuto looks like an albino Harry Potter.
Pierrot did. The same animators that did the standout episodes/cuts did.
It takes time. And money I imagine.
Power arc was basically your annual Naruto movie (there are like 8 or seven for Shippuden alone) that for some reason didn't make it into the cinemas and was aired on tv instead. That's why it's completely standalone story typical of those movies. (Last and Boruto excepted.)
No. Skip to canon. 322-345 is probably the best stretch of war arc and 322 is one of the best episodes of the show. As far as pure fighting goes, I'd say it's probably the best.

I was told to watch Power Arc though, the animation makes me wish they put that much effort into it all the time.
By all means watch it, not telling you not to.
There is no long running show that could do that. Bah even 99% of short ones fall hmmm short of movie standards.

Some filler is decent like the Kakashi Anbu one. I consider it canon filler, because even though it's not in the manga, it actually fits in with the timeline well for the most part and covers a period that the manga doesn't touch on much.

Eh, its similar to other high quality Naruto scenes done by SP, made by some notable animators who have worked on the show before. It was originally meant to be a movie, which would explain why it has consistently good animation.

The cool fights is the only reason why I'm still watching this show. Yeah after having to wait what 5 years for Sunrise to finish Unicorn Gundam I can see why doing stuff at that magnitude would be impossible for a regular series. I know Black Lagoon had good enough production values, but that was Madhouse and a much shorter series.
Sounds interesting since Kakashi is rarely a dark character, plus more Itachi, I don't really see a lot of him just being a person.
Hurray for out sourcing to Korea. Hunter x Hunter was a very good Shounen with good Art, but sometimes rather boring animation sadly. But yes.. it is consistent and Korea is the reason for that.
HxH consistently put out very well animated episodes a lot more than Shippuden does. We get a Kakashi vs. Kakuzu episode like every 50+ episodes at this point. The rest are pretty ugly looking, especially during fillers. HxH had beautiful looking animation in most of the key moments. Even in some episodes where characters sat around and talked with no action... I can only think of 1 episode in Naruto that did that. One of the best episodes in the series as well imo.

Yeah its consistent but it doesn't compare to the best Naruto fights, animation and choreography.
To be honest I would rather take a whole consistently good animated series than this bullshit that Naruto does.
Also what was the last very good animated episode of Naruto? They didn't even pay the money for the Gai fight (yes the movie took the good guys for a few months, but still...).

SP has fallen off. Part 1 seemed to have a more consistent quality while still having great fighting sequences. I would still rather have those best scenes if it meant a lesser quality throughout the show.
Boruto movie took everyone. I really hope this final arc is done justice.

It's consistent in the sense that it consistently looks good. The animation wasn't anything special.
Plenty of moments where the animation shined. Obviously every episode isn't going to be an animation showcase like something like One Punch Man. But most of the major fights were pretty well animated and even a lot of smaller moments from time to time. I'd much rather have a show look consistently good though like HxH, instead of something like Naruto with very low lows and high highs.
Kaka actually had a pretty rough childhood, possibly even rougher than Naruto. Loss his mom inexplicably, Dad killed himself due to being ostracized for saving a friend instead of finishing a mission, then lost one teammate on a mission, forced to kill the other and lost his sensei to the Nine Tails. Turns him into a cold hearted assasin.

Hinata vs Sakura discussions are funny because it's typically a debate on which is the lesser of two evils.
Hinata's problem is a lot of what the other chuunin exam characters suffer from. Kishimoto developed a character for that arc only and had no intention of continuing their development in a meaningful way.

Its easily one of the best original anime storyline arcs. I love this AU.
