People want Wii U games without buying a WiiU, I've noticed a lot of the sentiment.
To be fair, nintendo has trained us to expect that by having full bc the last two gens.

I think they will wait until E3 or the NX reveal event (if there is one) to finally show a trailer and announce the title. Though I would love to be wrong and have them show a trailer or footage today.Hopefully they show a little bit of the upcoming new Zelda. It's okay if they do the blowout at E3 but we deserve a fucking trailer for that game. We waited nearly 2 years and got nothing. It's really idiotic they don't show that game...
Wait... I though Yoshi's Woolly World was very well-received, way better than Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush. In fact, it's probably the best Yoshi game since the SNES one.
Also, I don't know why you've mentioned Kirby's Epic Yarn. It's a Wii game, it's amazing and I will be down for an HD remaster sometimes in the future. (But first, Wario Land: The Shake Dimension HD.)

This is what I'm hoping for as wellI think they'd be stupid not to have anything about Pokken. But Nintendo has made more questionable decisions before.
I really would like a post-release plan from them on this game.
Is it just me or the hype for today's Direct is pretty low compared to previous pre-Direct threads on GAF? : /

I think I'm looking too hard at your post, I assumed the question was sarcastic and that I was an idiot for expecting anything good in a sequel lol (I really need to stop assuming sarcasm and insults)
I'd of course want a refresh for the playerbase when the original Splatoon eventually dies, returning and new stages, maybe expand on ideas in the singleplayer a bit. New weapons/subs? Standard stuff for a sequel I guess...
And, as I did mention in my other post, playable Octolings and more tentacle-styles :P (Gimme a cute braid or something :0000)
Plus, the supposed reliable leak didn't have any Wii U megaton so people is not that hot also for that.
To be fair, PS3 happened first to ease people into it.I vividly remember how ingrained in the Playstation DNA BC was. Than PS4 happened.
Pretty much sums up how I feel. No last minute Wii U megaton = tears of disappointment. I'm not gonna scream in excitement if Pikmin 4 gets announced for Wii U today either. I liked Pikmin 3 but its in the same boat sa Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.... Not exactly exciting but fun in its own way.

I don't see the problem really, it's like HD remasters, it's not like it would've been better to sit with PS2 and Xbox and don't bother with PS3 and 360 just because Last of Us, Uncharted 123, Halo 1234, etc are now available in higher resolution and framerates on PS4 and XB1.If many Wii U games get pushed to NX then I will definitely feel this way.
Xenoblade Chronicles X has a good chance of being ported to NX.
Smash 4 getting ported has a very high chance of being a NX launch game.
Heck, even Splatoon might get a port for NX before the inevitable sequel's release.
Zelda Wii U being pushed to NX as a launch game can also happen.
Even a more complete edition of Pokken Fighters for NX can happen.
I'm at work, and I'll be without internet connection until the Direct will start, so no hype train posts for me

Just no.
Guys what if they reveal Zelda U's subtitle? Just imagine that for a moment. We could know Zelda U's subtitle in a bit more than 6 hours!
He's right though.
It'll be quite significant.

The software isn't the problem. The system itself is the main issue, as it was like poison for both the casual & hardcore audiences.
Paper Mario is kinda big man :VEh. I think anyone actually expecting another AAA Wii U game that hasn't already been announced is deluding themselves. Focus clearly shifted to the NX over a year ago. Another game or two might get announced (like Paper Mario) but it is not going to be anything big.
5PM in the East Coast. At what time is the presentation in Eastern Tie?
One game is history?I just don't see anything other than Smash Bros and Zelda being ported. But I don' know. I'm basing that off on rumors(Smash) and history (Zelda).
What does this even mean?
Poison? Is it a poison for your entertainment center to be there? Get rid of it if it's poison. I wouldn't want something infecting my entertainment center and the other consoles/devices around it.
Stop with the hyperbole.
Less than five hours till the DIrect!

I always get excited. You can't stop the hype!
Ask yourself, if Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft would announce that today they will show off summergames, with other words games released within the next 5 months, would you expect megatons?

Animal Crossing: Amiibo Party is quite the poison.
Nintendo is pushing Pokken at all of the major fighting game tournaments this year. They have to port it to NX.
Paper Mario is kinda big man :V

Thanks.5PM in the East Coast.

Uhm, I don't.
But I'm not on the non-hype train.
I simply cannot follow properly the topic and the Direct because of the time table
I'd say that the confirmation of MHX for EU within summer would be enough for me to value the Direct as a good one.
Not a megaton one, but I'm not expecting neither Pikmin 4 nor Paper Mario to be announced 2 months before E3; obviously no NX news before a dedicated event or the E3, and so on.
So my expactations are on spot.
What if I told you that Pikmin 4 is gonna get announced for Wii U in today's Direct? Is anybody gonna cheer or will it just be a "well... that's cool....."?
It'll be quite significant.
One game is history?
Expect what they announced, details about summer games. Than you will be fine.
There's a lot speculation in the Zelda community that the subtitle might be linked to the book Link's been carrying around in the teasers. I hope it's some type of grimoire.
"The Legend of Zelda: Grimoire of the _______" or "The _______ Grimoire" would be neat.
Who knows!
Paper Mario is kinda big man :V
FixedI will cheer. Pikmin is made for Motion Control.
