You're crazy, the PS1 version is outdated, all the spell names are using the old system and the translate was a bit rough/ typical of the era. It needed an update.

It's true that spells and classes use the old names, but it's a very good translation.

There was nuance and care in the dialogue. Subtle humor and emotions came through clearly.
