On Wednesday night, East Carolina University student Adedayo Adeniyi decided that he was going to attend the Donald Trump rally in Fayetteville, N.C. — not as a protester or demonstrator, he came alone, but as a curious college student at a very strange and important time in the history of our nation.

"I was there just to watch and experience the surreal moment of someone like Trump running for president and speaking to thousands of people," he told the Daily News.

Without saying a single word during the entire event, Adeniyi was randomly targeted and thrown out of the event by police as seen and heard on video he recorded.

"At first I refused to leave because it was all just a product of being black at a Trump rally. Basically in that environment I'm guilty by association. But common sense told me to just listen to the cops and move along," Adeniyi told the News.

On his cellphone video Adeniyi, being told he has to leave, can be heard saying:

"Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. That's not me, that's them. I don't even know them. What? I don't even know them. I don't even know them."

In a complete state of disbelief that he was being put out of an event because of the color of his skin, the 20-year-old student was audibly shocked.

After reluctantly complying, Adeniyi was escorted down the stairs by the police.

What happened next, he told The News, "caused me to lose faith in America."

"The man at the end of the video is a moment I'll never forget," said Adeniyi."

"The hate in his eyes. The words. The hate in those words. The slap. It was disgusting and sad. At that moment I believed that America will stay and continue to be a hateful and bigoted country."

Having not protested or disrupted the entire event, the man Adeniyi is referencing, a middle aged white man, looked him directly in the face and said, "F--k you. F--k you. F--k you," right before slapping Adeniyi in the face.

"These are presidential candidate rallies. I'm not at a KKK rally. The fact that I experienced hate at a candidate rally tells you everything you need to know about Donald Trump and the people that support him. People will act more hateful and racist in environments that they feel not only encouraged to do it, but accept it as normal," said Adeniyi.

And there you have it. Next time you're at a Trump rally, look for a minority to attack. I mean, they could be ISIS or something and you might need to kill them next time. And your valiant actions might even prompt a spontaneous "Go Home Niggers!" cheer. Of course, failing to find a minority to attack, settle for the next best thing: toss around a woman.

PS: Don't forget to support Trump if Sanders doesn't get in. He's so much better than Hillary.

I'd love to say that this whole Trump thing caused me to lose faith in humanity, but it was already long gone. I can't even be surprised anymore at how disgusting people can be.

I have no idea if these "Person attacked at Trump rally" threads are reposts or not.

It happens at pretty much every trump rally

Basically if you're not white, don't go unless you feel like getting roughed up or verbally abused

Trump actually watches it happen and encourages the violence

I think it's important to point, for those who inevitably won't read the OP, out that this young man was not affiliated with any protests or any vocal group. He came to the Trump rally and sat silently because he was interested in the process and the spectacle.

He was forced to leave a Presidential Rally because of his skin color.

Then of course he was cursed at and assaulted by a Trump supporter.

But she lied about being in the back pocket of Wall Street! And when will she tell the truth about Benjamin Ghazi?!?

People that say Hillary is the same as Trump are jokes themselves. I can't even fathom how someone could support this guy. And I don't mean that just because my views don't gel with him. I mean, you have to look at the other people who are on board with him and wonder about yourself at some point. Right? These are the type of people who would have been outside schools in the 1960s throwing rocks at Black kids. That isn't an exaggeration.

Well, when a candidate openly says (back in November), "maybe that guy deserved to get beat up, he's disgusting" the first time it happens, what did people expect?

Honestly the best thing people can do is just keep going, being silent, and recording everything/everyone around them. The more these videos go viral (and I mean really viral) the more people will lose their jobs for this stupid shit. They wanna be racist, they can lose their jobs in the process. I'm sure Drumpf will help them out.

This is where your nation's thirst for irony and comedy gets you. 2016 Hitler is in the running for US president. Hilarious.

This shit stopped being funny six months ago but you kept waiting for a punchline. fuck

Literally disgusted. I've only seen these things happen at trump rallies. Don't give me that bs "hell tells it like it is". No he's spreading hateful and dangerous rhetoric.

If you support him. Fine but just be honest with yourself as to why.

It's with repeated stories of blind hatred & racism like these that sometimes makes me wonder what makes americans so proud of their country.

I know... hatred & racism is not unique to America, but when you got someone like Trump being that close to be president, supported mostly by people like that, it's a lot more worrisome.

This is absolutely shameful every single time it happens. This man is taking race relations in the USA back by about five decades. Have any reporters or journalists asked him about this directly, and if so what has been his response?
(I'm sure it will be denial of knowledge and a refusal to condemn the attackers).

Dude you need a sarcasm detector

Hope so.. However things like this don't deserve scarcasm or comedy quips. It's serious business and can not believe what am watching on the American side of the pond.

It's pretty horrendous to see and terribly two faced. On the on hand is the land of the free, but with the other is far far darker.

I hope it gets looked at and healed.

They did last night at the debate, he deflected and said that some of the people who have been beat up were bad people and basically said they deserved it.

He just did the same, more directly blaming the protestors directly for causing is, and that it should happen more on CNN right now.

Right now Trump's support only represents about 40% of about 45% of active voters.

Of course, in the general many will vote for him just to avoid having a Dem in the White House (and he's counting on that), but it's not like half the country supports the explicit racism seen in these rallies.

At least Trump says what he means and doesn't care about political correctness.

I'm assuming this is a joke or sarcasm, but dude, I can't tell for sure anymore. Because of that, I'm not chuckling or laughing along. It's terrifying when Trump supporters say this, and his supporters are terrifying in general.

Trump is eventually going to cause a crowd of supporters to KILL someone.

Jesus fucking Christ. What a piece of shit. It's genuinely frightening that this man could become the next US President, and as a consequence I can see foreign relations with pretty much everyone collapsing.

You nailed it. It even came up during last night's debate. The fact that they had to address it during a major debate tells you how messed up this is. Trump blamed the victims, said they were big nasty guys who were starting trouble. Pretty much what you would expect.

People who keep saying "Oh, he'll pivot during the general. It will be fine" obviously don't have any skin in the game. A guy like that having the highest office in the land, and his supporters being emboldened. No fucking thanks. He just talked shit on Germany during the last debate. For no reason. An ally. It's sad. The GOP created this base, they're to blame for this entire mess. They pandered to these type of voters for the last couple cycles. Wouldn't quite openly welcome them, but did everything to include them...and now they're running wild and even they don't know what to do about it.

I don't even know what to do anymore. Every day I'm more shocked at my fellow Americans. I can't even fathom how people could be like this. Or how they could support such a terrible person. But he keeps getting votes! It's like I'm in some bad movie or something. I just don't know what to do anymore, or how to combat this.

America has always been like this.

The problem is that as a whole we aren't really doing much to try and stop him. Everyone keeps saying how horrible he is, but there hasn't been one solid plan to stop him (other than the GOP establishment trying to block him and people saying to get out and vote). Maybe we need to start a thread about ways to stop him from getting any further and act on that instead of making threads about every other thing he does.
