Oh boy the American people are pushing for Trump v Hillary...

I guess I shouldn't be surprised when we gave Bush 2 terms

For those interested in sub-presidential matters, notoriously cop-coddling Chicago DA Anita Alvarez is getting crushed by her primary opponent, who ran against her handling of the Laquan MacDonald killing.

#ByeAnita going to be trending on twitter soon :)

this cant be real right

Welcome to America. Over 50% make less than 30k/yr.

"But the average is 50k!!! Richest country in the world!"

College costs are astronomical, and the only ways to go to college outside of scholarships or parents if you're under 24 is to get married, go into the military, be a ward of the state, or student loans.

And Dorothy Brown is still winning despite a member of her office being indicted by the FBI.

I don't think many Hillary supporters actually realize that this isn't just a fight for a candidate, this is a fight for the future of the Democratic party. Many of us feel that Hillary represents everything that is wrong about the party and the wrong kind of future for the country. It ain't going to be as simple as crying in beers for a couple days.

Hillary is flawed, but there are two paths to choose from in November: one which kills much of Bernie's vision for decades, and another which allows the fight to remain viable.

Bernie's fans are going to have to vote with an eye towards future cycles, with an eye towards what challenges future Bernies will face. Logically - not based on feelings.

Bernie knows this quite well, which is why he will endorse and encourage support her when this primary process is over.

Who else was there to vote for?

Trump has been a LONG time coming for the GOP, and Bernie has never been a viable candidate, he's an idealist.

Blame the lack of depth on either bench. Not the American people, these are the options we were given because we never vote at the state level.

It's alright. She doesn't need to campaign for a few months now. ;)
This is why Sanders needs to drop. Just... let this woman rest up for a few months with a skeleton schedule. PLEASE. She's going to need it. It's wasting time, effort and money for both candidates to push this further. Let the GOP implode through their convention in June and then get rolling once they've settled their drama.

It's a fight you lost today but won't in the future, so take solace in that. We in Hillary's camp primarily care for the Supreme Court nomination at this point because of various situations that we cannot change until enough time has ran (like congressional redistricting, demographic changes etc) and so we are satisfied with her because she can win.

Congrats to Hill-dog on the wins. We voted for Bernie but are ready to help her win, but to then hold her accountable on trade and other areas.

I don't know if anyone has been paying attention but it looks like our terrible State's Attorney, Anita Alvarez, in Chicago is about to lose and a 'democrat' named Ken Dunkin that crossed to aisle to sell out to our plutocrat governor and then called Obama a toadie of Mike Madigan is getting his ass kicked. Mike Madigan is also crushing his Chamber of Commerce/Republican plant in his primary as well. Good night locally.

Clinton.. need more specifics.

How will you fight inequality?

I don't think it will be a focus for her, she wasn't campaigning about it before Sander became competitive, and as she pivots back to the GE, I imagine the extreme of the Republican candidate will allow her to be no commital on the issue. It's extremely hard for anything short of sweeping reforms to reverse the income inequality trends we are seeing.

*sigh*

Good run, Bernie, but it is over.
Thankfully I'm in a safe blue state, so I don't have to vote for Hilary, and I won't.

Glad I stopped caring about TYT. And for Bernie supporters feeling really low or much worse...:( please seek help. That Reddit post makes me sad.

Agreed. He's just wasting money, his and hers. Money likely needed in the general.

TYT in Meltdown mode ahahaha

Seriously? Three weeks ago, this day was projected to be a complete sweep for Hillary. If Bernie wins one state, it's good. The map tilts toward Bernie after today. If he doesn't win Washington state by a large margin, then you can get off the ship

AHAHAHAHA Berniebros on suicide watch

There-in lies the problem. Options are thin and pretty poor. Now I'm pretty much forced to go for Hillary even when I can't stand her facade but on the other side we have a racist bigot to put it nicely. Yikes man...

Bernie isn't extreme. He's only slightly left of the center.

If his tax plan was even half true it would have put the economy is a deep recession. Median income families having $4k extra annual expenses would cause a house market crash. Everyone would be trying to sell and downsize. It would create panic. The amount of change he wanted was way too big, and anyone that believes in his proposed policies should see the value in a series of adaptions rather than something so huge.

This was fun to watch from outside, but the dices rolled already. I hope I don't walk tomorrow to a world in which Rubio has a better grasp of the reality than Sanders.

OH really hurts for Bernie.

Like him much, much more than Hillary but will be voting for her in Nov. He's way better - but at least his issues got some prime time. A younger, slicker Bernie will no doubt come along in 8 years and hopefully win.

Also don't at all think Hillary is going to do well in getting people out to vote during the midterms, although there are many variables there and the end result remains to be seen.
