I did not realize that the republicans put an eight state rule into affect during the nomination process last time in order to limit the visibility of the Ron Paul delegates and show unity behind Romney. The rule states a candidate must have won the majority of delegates from eight different states to even have their name called during voting. In other words, this was to prevent Ron Paul's name from being called and his delegates being boisterous.

By my count, Cruz has won four majorities, Rubio zero (DC and Puerto Rico aren't states), and Kasich two (in Vermont he won 8 out of 16, so I counted it). As it stands, their names would not even be called in the vote and their delegates would be free.

Have soon do you think Republicans change these rules?

As someone who donated to his campaign and did some volunteer work, I get emails from his campaign almost every three days thanking me for helping out.

Of course, that's fine.

But when you have results, typically, win or lose, candidates go out there and thank their supporters publicly. They thank the people who voted for you. You congratulate your opponent. That's good politics. It's good manners. It's just what you do.

Bernie has rarely done that. He tucked his tail between his legs and ran like hell after SC. Super Tuesday? Nope. Tonight? Stayed on the stump.

I drove people to the polls today for Hillary. I made calls for Hillary. Guess what? She took 10 seconds to thank us in her speech. I mean, I know she probably doesn't give two shits what I did to help, but it's common decency to do what she did.

Tbf, it's not just TYT hampering on the same narrative. Secular Talk also believes Bernie could win, though it's a 60/40 chance in favour of Hillary and doesn't adopt the Media's narrative that it's a 'guarantee' for Hillary.

As a Republican it disgusts me that people are voting for Trump. He stands for ignorance and hatred and unfortunately a large amount of the Republican base falls for it hook line and sinker. Those of us with more moderate views are being pushed out of the party by these lunatics.

I pissed off some friends and family tonight by announcing my decision to either vote for Hillary or the libertarian candidate depending on who it is if the GOP nominates Trump. I refuse to take part in this madness.

I feel for you man; while all this goes down I know everyone (myself included at times) gets real comfortable generalizing large swathes of people that identify as conservative so that people that dont even subscribe to the lunacy get unfairly labeled and disrespected. Apologize for that; and hope that after this election cycle something changes and things get better (on both sides Liberals have their issues too; Lord knows). Would be beneficial to everyone.

SE Cupp.....

I'm not the only one who finds her attracive?

Yeah she's hot.

They can change them anytime they want, most likely a week before the convention when they meet.

I think cruz may get 8 majorities eventually. They may change it in a few months from now.

I haven't seen her meltdown and watch CNN daily.

She is a lot more moderate than she was when she was on FOX.

So, she had to tone herself down when she got to CNN. It doesn't change her being in the more guns = less crime, and if my memory was better, quite a bit more dumb shit. I'm sure a quick google search could expose plenty of shitty opinions.

The only one to say anything new tonight during the speeches was Rubio announcing his withdrawal from the storage locker he held his rally in.

Don't let math decide your dreams, there's no free will

Bernie can still win in this timeline, we need to leak hillary's speeches

She has a bunch of opinions I disagree with. However she is one of the republican pundits that is reasonably sane and willing to have real discussions.

It's the one thing the Clintons have always been good at, thanking everyone who got them there. I recall several wealthy donors being really upset with Obama because he didn't send them thank you notes and gifts after he won the election despite the Clintons doing so.

"Don't freak out -- this is the last good night for Hilary Clinton" - The Young Turks

Damage control at its most flagrant....

Here's something that sums up my issue with Bernie Sanders.

Hillary personally tweeted:

Bernie?

Nope. Nothing. No thank you to the people who called for him. No thank you to the people who knocked on doors. No thank you for running a good race. Nothing.

That just riles m up.

He also doesn't give compliments to Hillary that I have seen. But Hillary does it every time for Bernie. Just something I noticed. Definitely doesn't put out a humble image.

I agree with that assessment.

At least she's willing to listen to another point of view, even if she eventually disagrees with it.

TYT:"The real liberals in the upcoming states will pull Bernie ahead"

I actually shut it off after the 'I guarantee now- this is the last good Hillary night! It's all tits and roses from here!!'

Of course, the 'we're unbiased' comment should have done it. Not very impressed with their political 'insight'.
