I thought Hillary was not supposed to win after last Tuesday and that her best states were behind her?
Well technically her best states are behind her because she absolutely slaughtered in the south.

But no Hillary is still gonna win states. However Sanders will probably win the 7/8 primaries upcoming 3 of which are today. The one Clinton win is in AZ.

But this is probably gonna be Sanders best winning streak. Clinton gonna go back to winning in mid April, and erase all the gains Sanders made.

lol This idiot on TYT trying to get Cenk not to use the word lose in regards to the past states that Sanders lost by small margins.

Jimmy Dore on TYT is fucking embarrassing. Saying that there is some conspiracy that the southren states vote first so Hillary could run up the score.

I did my part and Voted for Hillary in AZ.

Thank you!

CNN has called it as well. Only MSNBC Is the hold out.

This bodes well for Hillary in California. Clearly, her support is as firm as it was in 2008, especially since she didn't manage anywhere near this type of margin in Arizona last time.

Looking forward to the math those "Bernie can still win this" articles use tomorrow.

Damn, I had hoped things would go differently here in Arizona based entirely on the bumper stickers I've seen.

1 Trump bumper sticker
1 Hillary bumper sticker
like 3 dozen Bernie bumper stickers

I think people are afraid to publicly show their support for Trump. And they're not hugely excited about Hillary either.

Sorry if this is super old, I had the page up for too long and a bunch of posts happened :P

Mmm I think you've missed the point of his model. What he's been trying to accomplish is whether or not we're at the point in the internet age where we can accurately or near accurately predict election results without pollsters and old-fashioned analysis. He's deliberately relying on social media trends and internet search interests and adjusting his model with each new primary's results. It's expected he won't be spot on...

But IIRC he is a statistician. He has been employed with other campaign trails before I think? I'll see if I can find the source on that. Forgot where I read that.

Anyway, the Michigan thing isn't a joke or something to brush off. His numbers were off the next time around. He even said he expects to come across that frequently though. He's adjusting as he goes.

That's just commentary on his actual predictions. But my previous post was based on the stats he shared on Arizona's demographics — nothing about social media or search interest. I'm not claiming that's the reliable source of information. Because that's what he's trying to prove or disprove with this whole experiment.

My whole problem with that experiment is the idea that it means something to go back and adjust data. That only works if your adjusted data can then predict the next round of results. If that were to happen, great, but there's just no indication to me that it will (or that any future accuracies aren't just coincidence).

Where do claims like this come from? This information is just a quick Google search away. Arizona's median age is actually below the national average.

The median is a good measure of stuff, but you'd need more data. For example {18, 18, 38, 38, 38, 40, 80, 80, 80, 95} has a median of 39, but it's clearly skewing higher. The average of these numbers being 52.5 would give you more info about that skew that the raw median can't.

I'm a mathematician, so I like to pop up for these things.

I don't watch a lot of TV, but pretty much only saw Bernie ads this week. No Clinton and not even Cruz or Kasich.

Arizona here.

Bernie ads dominated local channels with multiple ads most about wealth distribution and one about his willingness to take on exploited latino tomato pickers.

Hillary had one ad in which a Latino child was crying cause here mother got a deportation letter and hillary says she will worry for the child.

Trump had two ads, one highlighting his main points, the wall, banning muslims, making America great. One attacking Cruz for being pro immagration

Cruz had one ad attacking trump in general.

No Kaisch ad

The sanders supporters are bringing out the worst in people....

Congrats Hilary - Trulu make America great again!

If Iowa and New Hampshire didn't go first it would've been several weeks before Bernie had a single win under his belt.

The folks on CNN are doing a good job of explaining how Trump has the nomination, just about no matter what happens.

and I learned tonight that California has a Missouri style congressional district delegate awarding for the Republican side

Trump will kill Cruz in CA

Today's special word: antedotal!

The voting results say otherwise - we just don't feel the need to shout to the world about who we support.

Does anyone know when Idaho comes in? Utah not till late tonight, but I figured Idaho would be about the same time as AZ.
