a key item that drops from the Deacon of the Deep. Have you been to the Cathedral of the Deep yet? Its another path you can take in the forest. I think its more "left" from the wizard boss battle in the forest.

I haven't been to the Cathedral of the Deep yet - I just ran through the entire forest (you mean the one with all the crabs, right?) and didn't see anything new that I haven't been to yet. Is the Cathedral of the Deep the place with the Black Knight?

It's like DkS2, it's nothing special. Just like a regular map with no real depth or interesting moments.

About as good as DeS, but not as good as the Asylum. It's really pretty though.
So being as pissed off as I am that a blackout killed my save file, I decided to farm that Knight set from the guys before the 2nd boss..Only 10 levels below what I was at after 6 bosses, so should hopefully be able to burn through the next 4 and get to where I was at in 2-3 hours.

You need to find Rosaria's fingers and give them to her for her covenant, she then lets you respec and change appearance 5 times. Be careful when you do it because that miracle lady will turn on you if you enter Rosaria's covenant
Just got to the area where you needed the doll. How the hell do I deal with
the huge ice ninjas? They hit hard and fast and far, blocking them leaves me stunlocked until my stamina bar is gone, dodging doesn't get me out of their range fast enough and/or doesn't let me recover before they hit with a follow-up strike. My only winning strategy so far is running up to them when they prepare to cast a spell and hope they don't manage to recover before they're dead.

Got a question, I'm playing on the US version and shouldnt be able to connect online.
I got invaded by holy knight hodrick in undead village. He had a ton of health so I wound up just running from him. Was this an npc of did j somehow get invaded by a person even though I shouldn't be able to connect online?

In DS1 you could have O&S outside their boss arena and chasing you around the area. Was it common? Nah, it's a bug that could happen, did you experience that? What you have is not special in comparison.
Are you sure you're not just looking at the wrong part of the weapon upgrade screen?
