Quantum Break - Live-Action-Trailer

From yesterday's stream (here) the live action elements didn't look so hot at all. The dialogue was game-level writing but seeing it be spoken by real people made it quite... awkward.

It does look cool.

Too bad it's gonna take me like three days to download the thing. Why would I live here, I guess.

Only for Remedy.

They have two scenes up on the Xbox Live QB page on the dash, which show you how your choices affect the story. I thought the acting was pretty good. Saying that Lance Reddick makes anything sound good.

I was expecting something bad so I'm actually happily surprised at how this looks.

That gameplay sequence at the end of the video was dope.

Still do not understand the logic behind this, but the gameplay looks fun so whatever. Guess you have to allow these guys to try something different...

I don't think I've seen a single trailer for this game that has actually described the basic plot.

Like, all these years and I really don't know anything other than Ashmore and Hobbit Man are good guys, Littlefinger and Wire Man are bad guys. There's a female cop. Also time is power.

Production quality is nice, though.

It's just Remedy's passion with TV. They've been playing with TV ideas since forever? and QB's live action scenes are an evolution of those ideas.

There have been complaints about the show's quality...but if they keep the actual episodes restricted it should be okay based off this

The show doesn't have to be The Wire (though Reddick and Gillen are in this and looking awesome), but as long as it moves the story along in an organic manner, I'm for it. Production values look good, and I like the cast. Plus it's Remedy, so I have faith in them.

The live action stuff will probably turn out okay, but cynics will probably think its the worst thing ever. I am not expecting some sort of HBO show like The Wire or Game of Thrones here. I will look at this from a different angle.

Looks awesome.

Live action stuff looks incredibly expensive. What is the budget on this game and how are they recuperating their costs?

Heh, I was expecting almost nothing for the live action part of the game, but this trailer hyped me up. Remedy never disappoints.

Looking great. hopefully the Game/tv formula can start to be successful since those are the two entertainment mediums that fits the best with each other.

To those saying it looks like crap or cheesy or not good, what did you expect?

Everything can't be Breakin Bad or Game of Thrones level of quality. This looks right up the ally of something from Scyfy/CW and they've had some pretty good shows.
