The hallmark of many western RPG makers (like Bioware) is the ability to have a say in how the story specifically ends; your choices dictate your ending.
This is why I gravitated away from JRPG's; I merely left like I was along for the ride - rather than driving the game's story.

The framerate really took a tumble in this snippet I really hope they get a handle on that and on the IQ.

Yeah framerate and IQ are the only things holding the game back for me at the moment. I love the art for this game and the strong focus on characters. I'm hyped as hell but if they could fix those 2 things in the next 6-7 months I will be through the roof

Nice, I like it!! I haven't bought a magazine since I was last subscribed to Nintendo Power about 7-8 years ago. I'm considering picking this up. Nothing beats the good ol' days of sitting in bed before lights out flipping through pages of a gaming magazine.

I think the gondola is machine powered, and that thing he's holding is not a paddle, but rather for steering.

You probably shouldn't expect a lot in that area. I think they'd make a much bigger deal out of FF7R if they had a good amount of details. It's probably just confirmation of some small things like when Nomura confirmed that the Honey Bee Inn was still in the game.
