What does this even mean? Super woman focus?
There are a lot of butt hurt internet nerds who doesn't like strong female leads (See Rey). A lot of crazy sexist nerds came out of the woodwork after TFA and decided to belittle Daisy Ridleys character with the sexist label "Mary Sue"

There are insane sexists who call her a "Mary Sue". Ignore anyone who says that shit.

Man. Looks so fucking good. My biggest worry is that there will be SW fatigue in a few years, but if they keep the production quality and the stories feel genuine, I'm all for it.

As a massive SW fan as a kid and now with a young Son, I'm glad the the book didn't stop with the horrendous prequels.

We get more marvel movies and TV shows per year. As long as they stay intersting.

Marvel movies&tv are for the most pretty entertaining but they are not as special for me as a new Star Wars movie right now. Just my own opinion of course.

Am I crazy or did they make Diego Luna look like Poe Dameron?

Do we really need a Star Wars movie in every style and tone known to man? Can't we just let Star Wars be Star Wars.

Looking forward to the romance black and white silent film Disney is putting out in 2018.

Teaser did nothing for me because it might as well have been the next Hunger Games movie.
It's a movie about rebels on a stealth mission against the Empire to steal Death Star plans. That's as Star Wars as a Jedi and a smuggler fighting alongside Rebels on Hoth.

Why would you expect the story of the rebels to have the same tone as the story of Jedi and Sith and such?

Imagine if they made a movie about a bounty hunter and the criminal underworld of Star Wars

Idk man, if the main characters are sneaking on the Death Star how doesn't Vader the god notice their presence
Since the storm troopers are all clones these people should be easy to scoop out

Movie over ;)

Trailer was good, I'll be there day 1 for forced Boba cameo B^) do it Disney

When Luke and co were hiding aboard the Falcon in ANH, all Vader knew was that he could feel a force presence that reminded him of Obi-Wan. He can't tell where people are hiding whenever he wants, especially if they have no connection to the force.

Yes. To me it even feels ordinary / boring.
The actors lack something special and I don't mean the fact that they're not stars.
They somehow feel like extra rather than supporting role material.

"What if Star Wars extras made their own movie" - the Movie
Got that feeling too.

Script also didn't exactly inspire confidence.

"I rebel"... Who thought that was a good idea.

not bad.

honestly though, if they took everything out of the star wars movies except for the the jedi i'd be happy.

Hooded guy isn't Palpatine. The Hooded person kneels before what appears to be some sort of Bacta Tank though seems like something frozen. The Guards though certainly are an odd touch as they are specifically for Palpatine.

That looked pretty cool. Not going to lie, I perked up a lot when I saw AT-ATs. I'm not one to get too excited for "I recognize that shit, thus it is awesome", but AT-ATs have always been very neat to me.

I knew you'll be there XD it was a trap ; )

but still, white women lead seems to be the norm at Hollywood period, tiresome.
We had endless decades of men as the norm for blockbuster leads. Can't we have more than a year or two for women?
