Fair point. Why can't we do this, but many others who spend less can do it?

If we were starting from scratch? Sure. We have the ACA. We can use that to get to a multipayer system like they have in many countries. Our health care system is just not designed for single payer. It's not designed at all. It's a hodge podge of shit. A public option through the ACA is the best way to get to universal coverage.

Sanders ideas might be almost idealogocal, I dare say, improbable.

I think the appeal for his ideas comes from the fact people are tired of the status quo

I'm not arguing that. I'm simply saying it's far more dangerous. Especially with more more natural disasters happening due to climate change.

I don't think people consider that. I mean, much of America is in a largely fine start regarding climate change, but if upheavals happen, and they happen at facilities such as those, it would prove very disastrous.

But, wouldn't that also mean that the more prone geographical locations are coastline areas?

Stop linking thorpe or I will have an aneurysm. Crappy analysis with a ton of assumptions based on a 1 state model of single payer. Sander's estimates are overly generous but thorpe's are much further away from the true cost.

Not in states that don't accept it, a lot of new legislature is needed regardless of what the overall system is.

A horrific system of incentives, waste, and profit seeking.
It's cool though, as soon as Bernie is elected he'll switch the lever from "horrific" to "utopian."

Mod: "Hillary, will you raise taxes on the wealthy?"

Clinton: "Yes."

Sanders: "She didn't answer the question!"

There's not a nickels worth of difference between Sanders and Trumps debate tactics. Little substance, a lot of showboating.

I don't understand...you're saying she's pro-Palestine but afraid to let it out here?
I don't think that she's pro-Palestine. But I think Hillary's aware of the abundant Jewish vote in NY, and that's why she's being cagey with her answers.

What's wrong with Bernie wanting the nation to be powered entirely by clean and renewabale energy?
What's the plan to get there? What's the timeline? How will it be done?

It's easy to want things.

It is times like this people need to realize these two agree on 93% of the issues.

This is just political grand standing for punches-counter punches when they both have the same issues.

She already said that if that was the way to do it, she would do it. Whether it was through the cap or other methods? What's the problem?
