Still reeling over it. Really confused how this kind of perspective that casts aside entire regions has any place in progressive politics.

Many progressives are classist, and at times benevolent racists. It is going to pop up every now and then. Bernie Sanders is just downplaying because he lost really badly there.

What makes you think he isn't stronger on this issue?

From the blurbs he's outlined on his site, he doesn't have a plan. It lacks specifics in the way Hillary's detailed page has, so I think Hillary's is actually stronger.

I liked Hillary's debate performance overall despite the fumble on the transcript question and her answers on Israel, which I understand the realities of.
