Photomode is the same as gameplay except for some added sharpening I believe. Though looking at the shots he may have reduced or removed the sharpening. Not sure. In any case looks incredible.

As positive as I am with games, comments like best looking game ever don't cross my lips much. Let alone saying a game is a system seller... but it's been a long, long time since I've thought a console had a bona-fide 100% system selling game for consoles and Uncharted 4 hits that mark. Holy shit at the insane ammount of times I've said holy shit and I do belive in the game, where I'm at, the shit still hasn't quite hit the fan. Shiiiiiiiiitttttt!

Motion Blur seems like the best ever used <3 I still would love a option to disable it.

Oh, believe me, I know. It's just so hard not to look at some of this stuff. The hype is real, man. Curiousity killed the cat, etc etc

The other day when someone uploaded some videos, I watched maybe 4 seconds before I closed the tab. My will is strong most of the time.

And screen shots of areas or segments that I've already seen from the released gameplay footage wont bother me. It's the new and unseen stuff that I have to be careful with.

Why would you like an option to disable motion blur? It's very important especially in a 30 fps game.

I disabled it on Witcher 3 and didn't find any difference in fluidity.

But yeah Ratchet feels really smooth thanks to the amazing motion blur they used it.

I'm playing ratchet right now and I just got to thinking it's back to the PlayStation golden years, insomniac and naughty dog releasing games. It's like 2009 with crack in time and U2 hitting.

Its not hard as all as long as you have the right screwdriver and torx security openers. Make you're you take the power supply out and clean the heat sink too.

I do it once every 2-3 months with my launch unit and I've never had an issue. Entire process takes like 15 minutes.

Do you reapply thermal paste? And if so, which is the new joint everyone likes?

spoiler free is nice. Basically gameplay in comparison to UC2/3 and TLOU and or other games. Graphics, scale, AI, "depth" you know things of that sort.

I don't have the game myself but these are some impressions from someone who's beaten it.

Spoiler-free impressions:
- Gameplay is fantastic. Shooting now has a weight to it and the freedom of how you tackle encounters feels great.
- Set pieces are less bombastic, but no less memorable or exciting.
- Chapters are more meaningful and each one feels very distinct. They're much longer than in previous games too.
- Speaking of which, my end clock was 14 hours. I reckon most playthoughs will be between 12-16 hours. It's pretty meaty!
- Music has less memorable themes, but it's the best implementation of music in the series. Firefight music in particular is great (very pirate like)
- It's the best looking game on the system bar none...you already knew that.
- But what shines is the art direction, it's so beautiful! Colors are vibrant and each environment is so wonderfully well crafted, it feels so organic.
- Smoothest 30fps game I've ever played, no hyperbole. Their masterful implementation of motion blur is like nothing I've ever seen.
- Incredibly clean image, everything is so sharp and the AA solution removes any noticeable jaggies.
- Details, details, details. People say you don't notice the little things, you do. In many ways it's the 'biggest' Uncharted, but it's also the most down to earth, so all the little things stand out so much more.
- The ending is perfect. PERFECT!
