Countdown is tied to your computer's clock. Go by the schedule that's been posted in this thread.
On another note, one has to wonder what they'll talk about for an hour. Hell, what in the world are they going to do for two and a half hours at the Tokyo Tower?
I want to trust you and build up my confidence again, but then I close my eyes and remember last year and I fill a hole where my heart used to be.
So I'm in between. The only thing that would make some super clusterfuck is a Collectors MEGA DUPPA FUNK edition with Statue, Anime, Soundtrack, Art, DLC (a lá FF XV)
Persona skits to buy time and stall
Hahah I understand. But hey, Japan's Collector's Edition oughta be really awesome.
It starts in 7 hours and 40 minutes from now. The reason the website says there's still 20 hours to go for you is because the countdown is set to your computer's clock.I'm completely lost as to the time this actually kicks off. The website still has 20 hours to go but yesterday people were predicting 7 hours? soon? later? now?

Here's how Japan-focused the event will be: the countdown clock expects your computer to be in Japan's time zone and was not programmed to even consider the possibility that people from outside Japan would be looking at itI'm completely lost as to the time this actually kicks off. People who have reasonable expectations are expecting a Japanese release date and a new trailer, minimum. I don't see the room for disappointment unless someone is expecting something nuts.
I honestly want to see some less serious content with the next trailer.

I meant to post this earlier. Menus are so freaking hype and gorgeous.
Well i think we can be confident that the game isn't going to be as drab as Persona 3 in terms of melodrama and unlikable characters for half the game...(atleast until their character development kicks in)
So the trailer doesnt necessarily have to show 'lighter' content per se IMO
Can we?
Persona 5 news and UC4 embargo up!? HNNNNGH
Or maybe they just change the tone and make a much more serious game. We already know it's darker this time; to what degree is the question. I'd take either way.

Is someone here going to host a stream to watch? I can never figure out how NicoNico works.
Someone answer this man!

Forget the stream. Just imagine an old lady holding a poster blocking the screen and overreacting to nothing. That's probably how most of it will go!
Do we though? You can isolate certain scenes and imagery from P4 and make the game out to be pretty dark. I don't expect this to be too much darker than P4, really.
Darkest thing about P5 thus far is the color palette, to be honest.
Most of the characters in the game are labeled, judged, and are living unfortunate everyday lives that have no escape. Rising up and breaking out of such situation is what you’ll see as you move forward in the game.
I think I'll skip this live event and just check the aftermath thread(s).
The last Atlus event (P5 announcement) was way too trollish for my poor heart.
T_T
So what are they announcing brehs?
Hopefully some good mobile tie-ins.
Is the stream going to be subbed or dubbed though
neither?
