NBC's Community Official Thread - the next Arrested Development/Office/30 Rock?

I am the only person at work who's even heard of this show much less watched it, but I have managed to make "I have the weirdest boner" one of our stock non sequiturs. It took a few tries, and I got a little too much laughter the first time I busted it out (someone pointed out a semi-hot woman walking through our office looked a bit like one of the guys standing around our desks), but it was worth it.

Now I just need to convince one freaking person to give this show a chance. Even the AD lovers don't seem at all interested, and after introducing that show to them I'd have thought they'd give me one freebie on faith alone. I gave you the Bluth's dammit, trust me on this one!

I've been rewatching some of the older eps, and I have realised how wacky the show has gotten in a short amount of time... the actors and characters are more comfortable in their skins to do crazier things, and they push the sexuality of the two female leads more and more. By the time season 2 hits it's gonna make the Cheerleader fantasy by Jack Black seem like a tap-dancing recital.

I haven't watched a show so memorable in it's first season before...and I have watched a lot of shows...Chevy Chase, McHale, Glover and Danny Pudi are exceptional....Not to mention the lust for the Britta/Annie rivalry. This show is awesome :D

EDIT: Sorry, didn't want to seem like I was disagreeing with "Costanza". Costanza is the reason I started watching this show and hopefully, I can get an avatar from this show one day before someone claims it :D

Great interview with Danny Pudi and Ken Jeong. Old (from when the show launched), but new to me and this thread (AFAIK). The interviewer didn't seem to know what to do with them.

I always see certain co-stars hanging out with each other outside the show.

I don't really see Joel or Gillian or obviously Chevy or even Yvette around but the others all have time to spend with each other. Schedules?

Speaking as one of the few Team Britta members here, I gotta say I found it quite disturbing the lack of fan pages for Gillian Jacobs in general... but I did sorta find one while do a search but it wasn't obvious when I found the search result. We need a page dedicated to her or sumpin, I'd do one but I don't know shit about making websites and I don't have the connections.

Juat caught up to episode 18...anyone else feel weirded out by the spanking scene? I was half laughing, mostly because of Troy, but it was also really awkward. Apart from that, still loving it.
How many more eps are slated for this season?

I felt the same way, almost. I was my laughing my ass off at that scene, but felt uncomfortable doing so.:lol

I am aware, this is not a competition (or maybe it is) but I was finding a lack of Gillian/Britta resources in general disturbing
 
Wasn't Beginner Pottery supposed to air like a month ago? I seem to remember either this thread or my DVR saying it was going to be on, but they showed a different episode instead.
 
I just got Yvette Brown to reply to one of my tweets.

She referred to Gillian as "stink", and I asked her if that was her nickname cuz she was stinky, she was like it was just a nickname, she doesn't smell :lol

So apparently Tony Hale is gonna be on the show tonight...

he was in Arrested Development, and more known to me recently as from Chuck as Emmett
