An AR-15 like 200 years later.

I'm more than ready for a new God of War but I would be okay with it not being out until even 2018. 2017 is looking stacked with exclusives and that's only counting the ones we know about: Horizon, Dreams, Detroit, MLB, probably Gravity Rush 2, etc.

My prediction of the release timing for Sony's upcoming big titles :

Q4 : TLG - GT Sport - (Detroit)
Q1 : Horizon - (Detroit)
Q2 : N/A
Q3 : Dreams
Q4 : Dead Don't Ride - GoW4

If it exists, it's Insomniac.

And since it'll be based off the movie, it's bound to be a bit more light hearted and kid-friendly.

The original rumor was Suckerpunch, not Insomniac. What would Insomniac know specifically about doing a Spiderman game? They've had a string of less-than-ideal games (except the R&C reimagining) whereas Suckerpunch wouldn't be making a big leap taking their years of inFamous experience and open-world city skyscraper traversing gameplay and making it into a Spiderman game. That almost seems like a best-case match for a Spiderman game to me (and others)...

Mods and insiders shut down the Sucker Punch rumour but seem to nod towards Insomniac which is why they're being brought up for the Spider-Man game.

The Sucker Punch dream is dead.

Well Insomniac made Sunset Overdrive...
Plus, it has been hinted it's Insomniac by insiders.

The original rumor was Suckerpunch.

People keep saying that, but i'm pretty sure that is not true. The original rumor was "PS4 Exclusive Spider-Man game" because one actor had it on his profile or something like that. Then people started bringing SP in, they were never part of the rumor.

If GoW4 was just another Greek mythos game, I could see it being a March release.

But with a new mythology, I expect Sony to treat it like a new IP/reboot of the franchise, so it'll get a 1+ year marketing cycle to get fans hyped at the idea of a new GoW.

GR 2 should launch into the mainstream, hopefully. There is so much going for these games, and with a bigger budget and more variation, this is likely to be one of Sony's best games. Kat is a great character as well.

I remain very skeptical of SIEA's intent to market the game in any tangible form.

So next year I'm thinking Horizon for Februrary
Dead Don't Ride for Summer
And GOW4 for November

Just my guess. Sounds reasonable

Maybe I'm being too pessimistic but I think Dead Don't Ride (or maybe GoW4) might follow the trend of UC4 and Horizon. Which is given a release year of the next year at E3 (in this case 2017) then later delayed to the start of 2018. Part of why I think it could happen for DDR is because they only went into full production in January 2015. But maybe Sony will be more conservative with giving release windows now that it's happened a few times with their big games in the last few years. I hope I'm wrong though of course, and that the game is far enough along to make it next year.

Pretty disappointed if it's that far off. I'm thinking summer-winter 2017.
They started what like late 2013? It was announced cory would be coming back August 2013. Looking at it from that angle GG had a small team working on horizon in 2012 than everyone moved over after killzone was done in 2013, Horizon will be releasing 5 years after they got started. Id say 2018 could be possible. Or ssm are beasts and its late 2017

Not a chance.

I hope this doesn't mean that all we are getting this E3 is something like the teaser of GOWIII at E3 2008.

Was hoping for a bigger presentation, like the one from E3 2009.

But since there are "rumours" about this being a game that showcases the PS4 Neo capabilities, and we already know that it will not be present this year, I guess Sony will probably wait for the next E3 to show some meaty gameplay.

Well I'm sure they also had a small team on GOWIV while the main team was working on the failed AAA game. 4 to 4.5 years of dev time presuming noone touched until mid 2013 (which I doubt) is not really beast development, just more in line with Sony's dev cycle this gen. Going to 2018 would be another bloated dev time.
