I hope all the trailers at the show don't even have a year at the end of it; just fade to black. Give us a god damn date that you know you're gonna hit. That way devs can avoid the negativity and shit storm that delays cause.

Guys. I just gotta get through work tomorrow and I'm free for 4 days lol. Tomorrow we get Injustice 2 gameplay reveal which I'm excited for. Then Sunday shit really kicks off.

I am eager to see a current gen Injustice, as well as Visceral's Star Wars something, anything.

Wondering if the Skyrim Remaster will have mod support like FO4.

How? Don't you play with my feelings

It comes from what Verendus has said in the past about a new Playstation brawler. He's been teasing it since 2013, and when someone asked him a year ago if they should expect the brawler in two years, he told them that it shouldn't take that long. So I assume that means this game should either come out within the first half of next year or the end of this year. Either way, the game will have to be announced within this year. Unless something in development changed, Verendus was mistaken, or I've mistaken what he has said. I'm betting that we will get it at this E3 along with a playable Crash reveal.

You'll get Lightning and Knack and love it.

anyone got the verendus list?

there are several by now

Forget the E3 of dreams... this is

THE E3 OF DESTINY

Where are people getting this idea we're getting a Battle Royale sequel?

I just want to know since the only things I've heard of are:

-That guy somehow extrapolating PlayStation All Stars from one very subjective poem

-What Verendus has said (which was years ago, is not at all recent and did not hint at a date)

-And that PlayStation Fuite twitter (who I thought we'd already written off pages ago?)

If it's the latter then eesh I'm not gonna get my hopes up for that. He's implied Sumo Digital will be working on a sequel (which does not get me excited at all, since I heard LBP3's launch wasn't that great) and all he's offered is a(n already existing PS Move Heroes) picture to tease the game.

I'm still thinking that the next all stars game will be in the style of Marvel vs. Capcom and also be developed by Capcom. Also, we might get a DLC trailer from ND for their MP stuff such as the summer update or co-op.

A naughty dog-less e3 makes me :(
Imagine them unexpectedly showing up with The Last Of Us 2 or something like Savage Starlight that a small group at ND had been working on since 2013 and entered full production a few months ago when Uncharted 4 was done. Would be so hype.

But yeah, as I said it would be unexpected. The next time I expect to see them is PSX with the Uncharted 4 DLC.

-What Verendus has said (which was years ago, is not at all recent and did not hint at a date)
.

he talked about it again last year

when someone asked him if we have to wait 2 years

I don't think I'd go that far. Just about getting started is probably a bit of an exaggeration. Bear in mind, I only told you last year we're doing a Sony crossover since a decision was already made by then. In 2013, things were mostly being talked about how to revisit that kind of idea, and I didn't imply otherwise. The idea of having a title which involves lots of Playstation characters isn't a bad one. All-Stars pushed over a million copies, which considering the weaknesses amongst other issues, isn't a complete failure. But it also wasn't a success nor did it inspire the utmost confidence in pushing full-steam ahead with getting another one made right away.

When something happens where a lot of the people in management like the idea, but it's not lived up to what you hoped, you have to think about how to bring that idea back in some kind of way, but not repeat the same mistakes. There's obviously potential, but you have to do it right. If you mess up once, and then again, then you've basically destroyed it. Besides, there's a couple of different ways to do a mascot title, and it shouldn't have to be the case you stop at one idea. They can make a couple depending on getting the right fit.

I'll be honest with you, I have tempered expectations a bit, since it's not turned out the way I initially thought it would. But I also thought of something pretty crazy in the first place.

I think it started of with the Fuite twitter thing and then all the Crash speculation got people talking about it more. Personally, I just believe Verendus and have been waiting since he first mentioned it.

Even though I don't believe the twitter at all, I thought Sumo Digital being the developer was a very interesting claim. It makes a ton of sense given their past work, and Sumo even mentioned once that they tried to pitch a Sega fighter to Sega. I think they'd be great.

he talked about it again last year

when someone asked him if we have to wait 2 years

I knew about that post, but I didn't know it was being talked about in the context of "whether it will be out in 2 years

I guess that puts my expectations up a little

I'm still not gonna get hype though. The first game was released six/seven months after reveal, so if they follow that schedule again, it could technically still be revealed at a later date and come within the first half of 2017 as Kouichi said. I just don't have any reason to believe it'll be at E3.

The first game was leaky af and the fact that we're still only relying Verendus' stuff makes me think it's not happening/not being revealed (if it's real) just yet.

This is my wishlist from a while back. I've deleted games off it that I've talked about being in development in the past, and titles that people already know are in development (MM's new IP, GG's new IP, Gran Turismo etc.).

Here's the truth about this wishlist, when I posted it, about half of these games were probably going to show up at E3. Hence why I said in the post that I'll like E3 if even half of them show up. Now here's the thing, forget that. The when doesn't matter now. And that post is now meaningless with that kind of statement since I know what's happening generally, and the number doesn't fit due to some changes.

Instead, here's what I can tell you. All of the list is true, except for two games, which I can't vouch for. One of those games is actually coming to Nintendo, but that's second hand information, and I don't really know about it. The other hasn't even entered pre-production, and SCE is in talks about possibly getting something done with it. We'll have to see about that. But even without those two (and I won't say which two those are since if I do, I confirm something I don't want to), there's still a lot here.

I'll start you off. JRPG1 and JRPG2, which I've talked about several times, don't need any elaboration. You'll know both soon enough. JRPG3 is in pre-production at the moment, and is something that should appeal to fans. This will be announced in 2016, at the earliest, I would assume. They've only just started picking things up this year. JRPG4 is much further away. This will be a more significant title, but you're not hearing about this anytime soon. This is towards the end of the generation. JRPG5 is similar to a title that you already know about. Also, a late generation title.

That's your Sony exclusive JRPGs which SCEJ/A is going to be involved in some shape or form over the next five years. Nice, isn't it? I don't think you have to worry about any of them being cancelled. But don't expect to hear of the latter three anytime soon, but I'm sure it'll look more believable once JRPG1/JRPG2 are announced since those are up first, and hey, we're not that far now.

To ruin some SE stuff.

FF7 spin-off. Real. Not AAA, but it'll be good. No one is going to complain. Current gen. Square Enix crossover is PS4 exclusive. I don't mean Musou. New Parasite Eve is pretty straightforward. A new PE game.

Monster Hunter PS4, I think I was caught by Chobel in January when I posted it, and edited it. But it's been leaked from the looks of it anyway. That's your upcoming MH PS4 game. However, it's not the only one. SCEJ/A has been discussing with Capcom about bringing more Monster Hunter to PS4 for a while, and for the most part, the only thing I can say is things are looking pretty good on that front. Please be excited. Although, check your expectations a little if you're expecting some massive effort. We're just fitting in what exists, rather than trying to create something new.

The new Naval RPG is a western game. Big publisher, big budget. And I think that's about enough.

All sounds like bullshit, doesn't it? That's good. If it sounds too believable, it'd be no fun."

A naughty dog-less e3 makes me :(

The Last of Us was announced a month after Uncharted 3 released.

Uncharted 4 was announced in less than 5 months after The Last of Us released.

They're totally going to be there to celebrate Crash 20th anniversary (not as the developer of the new Crash game), and announce The Last of Us 2.

-New Parasite Eve
-DMC5
-New Cyberpunk Action/Adventure/RPG IP
-New Sega Action/Adventure IP

I want these games so much. Please be true.

Would JRPG #1 be Ni No Kuni? Sony Japan has no involvement in Ni No Kuni 2, and Verendus said Sony Japan's involved in some way with each, meaning the JRPG's are internally/ externally developed Sony Japan games, most likely also meaning they're Sony owned IP's as well.

JRPG5, similar to a title we know about, sounds like Bloodborne 2, or a new IP souls type game.

Verendus was talking about what the Sony first party studios were up to when he talked about JRPG1 and JRPG2. Isn't Ni No Kuni made by Level 5 which is a 3rd party studio?

Also, Verendus posted the list in a "what sony studios are going to show up at E3" thread. So I don't get the inclusion of multiplats on the list unless I missed him specifically saying there are multiplats on the list. So confusing. And looking at the list, that is likely the correct way to go about it, that's way too much stuff to be exclusive to sony.

That's...pretty disappointing because I was under the impression he was talking about games exclusive to PlayStation.

That's a list full of multiplat games.

Verendus has talked about different things on different occasions.

There is a smaller list of titles where he mentioned 2 (or was it 3?) JRPGs from Sony that one of them is Bloodborne, and one is the FF-equivalent that is a far ways off. Also where he talked about a Capcom exclusive to PS4 (SFV), and hinted at various exclusives coming from various publishers as well. (Lazy Eyes, etc)

And then there's the 2015 list which includes games from all spectrums.

my guess for jrpg 5 or 4 is final fantasy XVI, probaly they already are planing but will be launched only at the end of the generation

Crazy how much Sony is pushing Horizon already. I know there was the photo shared sometime ago of the big billboard next to the freeway of the convention.

Saw this today in West Hollywood.
Yeah, Sony has plans for this to become a big franchise for them. This won't be a one and done situation assuming it is critically and commercially successful.

you thought those new ip´s by Ubisoft, EA and Rockstar would be all Ps4 exclusives?

Yup.

Verendus dropped a lot of those hints (listed on the previous page) throughout that Sony First-Party Studio thread, so I kinda assumed he was implying that Sony secured exclusives from those companies. I don't recall him explicitly saying the stuff he was hinting at were multiplat, unless my memory is betraying me right now :/

Also, I'm now wondering what that supposed 3-game deal with From Software actually means; 2 more exclusive games in the vein of BB or just console debuts?

if you Guys are curious about the Ps4 exclusives that Verendus talked about, than these are some of the games we should expect according to him:

- Exclusive Game by Warner Bros (from 2013) (probably the Superman Game)
- 2 Exclusive Games by Sega (Not Yakuza)
- another Exclusive from Level 5
- 2 other Exclusives from FromSoftware
- a new Brawler Game
- a Dragon Quest Remake/HD (probably 5)
- Japanese new IP which is set in...Japan. Third person action adventure title with monsters and machines
- exclusive Games by western Third Party Studios with the codenames Lockstarter and Lazyeye (from 2013)
- the Big Budget JRPG Game from Sony Japan
- new Sly Cooper

About the Sega Games he said this last year

Another unnamed IP which is coming to Playstation exclusively from Sega should hopefully be announced next year. It's had teething issues which seems to be making it take longer than I thought, as have most other projects on current gen to be fair from the looks of it, but I'm happy to mention it again because it looks like we might finally get an announcement next year. I'm hoping at least. This one's not a fighting game.

i think the second is Virtua Fighter which he also teaser

Sony definitely has a lot of confidence in Horizon. Historically, that's usually a good indicator of quality (Like recently with Bloodborne and Uncharted). They're pushing it like an Uncharted or God of War.

so stuff like Persona 5 and Star Ocean don't count towards JRPG because they aren't published by Sony?
