Any chance of 2 models, $449 with 4k blu ray and $300-$350 without?

Also, if it has a built in IR blaster is there any chance of a built in mic for Cortana?

Oh I have no idea but I even think that would be dumb.

4K bluray should be in the Scorpio box, not the slim IMO.

Looks nice in the vertical position. Will look great with IKEA furniture.

As crazy as it sounds $450 wouldn't shock me given 2TB HDD and 4K but surely it won't be the case...

It looks to me like it is ~25cm wide which is slightly less wide than 360S without HDD attached.

The Gears image is the bigger deal here. As a current Xbox One owner, the S feels like a complete waste of money when the Scorpio is coming next year.

The 4K and HDR stuff makes me think this is gonna be more expensive than people might expect, specifically considering this isn't the Scorpio hardware. Decent 4K Blu-ray players are around $400.

Wow. This year man... Looks the same size as a ps4 with some nice 4k features. Surprised they rejigged the controller again tho.

Ekim knows his stuff from the past posts I have read of his but I guess all will be revealed tomorrow.

Unless we get a picture of the back, I wouldn't say his word is absolutely concrete.

I think he gets credit for the wireless FCC filing.

Hmmm, not enough for me to double dip yet. Will just wait for that newer console next year. Probably need to figure out how to offload my current xbone down the line.

Question to those saying they will buy this. Why would you when a new, more powerful console is due next year from Xbox? Just curious.
There's lots of reasons. Cheaper, first with 4K, nice looking, you get to play the games now and not a year from now...etc.

What exactly does Sony need to match? PS4 is already as slim as it's gonna get. If you're talking about them releasing PS4s with 2TB hard drives then I agree.
Well last generation the PS3 slim felt cheap and the super slim felt really cheap. I can't say I have a lot of faith in Sony when it comes to redesigns. Microsoft also making changes to the controller at this stage of the generation is a bold move that I welcome. I think some in the Sony camp would welcome changes to the DS4.

Looks nice, I love white things, but I have zero need for it, my normal Xbox One is fine. Especially with the 'new' one coming out whenever.

If they sold the controller separate though....
