I don't play Zelda games, but it seems really odd that they've decided to make Link a righty in this game. Wasn't he supposed to be the most famous southpaw in video games?

These kinds of "it looks empty" reactions seem extremely superficial. If a game shows a couple of wide angle landscape shots that show how large the world is, suddenly it's lifeless and empty.

Eh, I will be very surprised if Link talks. I suspect they'll more like be going for a Half LIfe like solution. NPCs talk and have character. The player character listens and is silent.

Zelda's voice is great tho

I don't think female Link is dead. Reggie said we'll learn later how this Zelda is breaking the boundaries in other ways for the series. Given the leak, maybe they're now trying to make you think that Link is only playable as male so they can at least surprise people a little.

Not sure what your seeing, but those textures are definitely not good. Game looks like what we've seen thus far. I'd also say that we got a 720p trailer which would make me think this was a WiiU trailer. Maybe I'm wrong and the game is not getting much of an upgrade on the NX (or that system is also very weak), but we'll see.

Looks a lot better than all the previous footage. So not really sure if the bump was just the WIP on wiiU. If its on wiiU then i can expect the NX to look a whole lot better. Either way. the game is looking pretty cool.

Having just beaten Blood and Wine I sort of get why this could look unimpressive, but it's a different platform and artstyle. They did a great job with what they had to work with on the Wii U.

About the open world being sparse -- I'm a big fan of populated towns and such in RPGs and would like a big town in this game. But remember that the original Zelda game was about Link exploring a largely wild game. If the overworld really has a lot to do in it as far as survival and exploration of ruins, it'll be fine.
