Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 2016 Thread [*LIVE*] (No childish commentary allowed)

I don't think so. For it to be in the WW timeline, it would either have to take place on the new continent, which the Korok did not show up on, or takes place after the water decreases. I think it takes place after Twlight Princess. Some of the areas match up with it and the Temple of Time still exist.

Also, the Korok evolved from the Kokiri, which exist in both Majora's Mask timeline as well as Wind Wakers.

It's all of them together.

For those who missed it earlier - you can throw your weapon and use the magnet to fight enemies.

I've just seen the light, and I thought I was dead.. But it seemes I just got magically logged out of GAF was prestented with the light theme. Phew! But damn, how much have I missed since the gameplay with Chico? Was that her name? This game looks sweet!

I'm getting Dragon Quest VII vibes from the village rumors.

Maybe each village is in trouble, and when you help them you restore them a little.

I just got back from playing the RE7 demo.

What's up with the childish commentary? What happened?

Well, some people mistook a quote to mean there will absolutely be no towns in the game. Someone somewhere said there will only be 4 main Dungeons (not proven correct or not). E. Rogers was wrong about there being a playable female Link.

It is exciting to see that Aonuma has finally been able to create the Zelda game he has sought to make that escapes the shadow of OOT.

Regarding the timeline, my current guess is that it's Hyrule after the flood from WW has subsided and pretty much everything is in ruins save for the few survivors. The hero in WW never awakened because he was in a stasis / is the link that we now see in this game.

Some anti-Nintendo fans are trolling the framerate, the lack of Female Link, the lack of things to do in the world, basically ruining the fun for people who are really excited for this game.

Pretty sure it's actually about the kids who were all "lol big bewbs woman hawt x.x".

That was after the "childish commentary" which was really creepy remarks about on of the women playing on the stream

jesus this game

There's so much you can do!

Horizon, while beautiful, I seriously doubt has this much going on in the game creatively.

I don't know how to feel about this game right now personally.
(From what's been seen so far) It's got cool lore and awesome "special item + puzzle/obstacle" mechanics like the vast majority of post-ALTTP Zelda games, but it's wrapped up in a bunch of really dumb trends (durability mechanics, crafting, open worlds, etc.) that I'm honestly not a fan of and make this feel like a new IP forcefully jammed into a Zelda skin.

Oh my god..

I've been watching almost everything since 12...

But I just saw the Amiibos and what the Wolf Link Amiibo does.

GOTF.

I can't believe how fucking amazing this game seems to be. :O

This is exactly what I wanted. An open world coupled with real mechanical depth. Honestly seems like Zelda team is going all out to make the definitive Zelda experience. So impressed so far.
