Final Fantasy XV: Airship Type-F Gameplay Trailer

FFIX has the best OST........FFVIII has the best love duo outside tidus and yuna. XII has the ugliest summons, and VII is tad overrated while VI is arguably the best in the series.

I would say that Final Fantasy is a goddamn great series and let's all hope that FFXV reclaims the throne.

With us hearing more of the English voices, have he had confirmation on who are the VAs?

Cause i swear Regis is the current Wesker.

Apparently the game now you lets play in active mode which has you pressing the button in order to attack instead of holding it. In this mode you have to press while in the default mode you can hold it.

This already existed before, no?

You could either hold down or tap to attack regardless even in the default mode. Simply holding it down just was an auto attack sequence and by tapping you could time the rhythm of your attacks.

Abysmal image quality. If they can't get their TAA stable like in the Pax Prime 2015 screens they should just go back to the cheaper FXAA they used for Episode Duscae.

I really don't get how they are struggling so much...Look at Horizon...it looks up there with Uncharted 4 in terms of AA and it is open world. Part of the reason I want them to bring this game up to spec is because I think the base assets are very impressive, as is the overal geometry. So far, it has been painfully obvious they are really struggling to optimise their engine for the hardware.

I think Horizon has the benefit of being from a first party studio and they only have one platform to focus on. Other third party open world games don't have the IQ or LODs anywhere near Horizon but it's still better than what's being shown on XV though.

Horizon does look fantastic.

I wonder how much of that is the multiplatform requirement. Horizon and Uncharted 4 are both PS4 exclusive.

The eventual PC version will probably look absolutely incredible.

Yeah, I am just a bit miffed, because on more powerful hardware, I think FFXV could absolutely hang with Horizon. On the other hand, I think it should look better than it currently does on consoles.

That's what someone who hasn't yet accepted Blitzball into his life would say

Urgh, Blitzball! More like Shitzfall, amirite?!

That would be really cool. I hope they have something like that. And that it's not just the endgame with a lot of shit sectioned off. Where you can actually explore almost everything.
They said you have access to ALL of the world via exploration before you go to fight the final boss. So, I'm guessing if you are right there and decide to turn around and leave the final dungeon, you have the chance to go crazy.

Yeah i'm totally expecting a sort of World of Ruin kind of situation.
Totally see the whole "World of Perpetual Night" being the final leg of the game. It would also be a VERY FF-thing. A lot of FF games have had that final event that changes the world in some way. FFV has the Void torn world, FFVI has the World of Ruin, FFVII has the post-Meteor summoned world(which was totally full of dispair), FFVIII had the Time Compressed world, FFIX had the Mist World... and that's all I guess.

Definitely curious what XV's final code will look like.

FFX had FFX-2 world.

hey considering fan reaction you'd think it's a sad turn of events just like the other examples!

FF2 was cool enough to have multiple world changing events.

I still don't think he's the final boss considering you meet him early on in the game. He's just there for the fiddles.

I dunno, I've been getting Kefka vibes from him since he was introduced. Then given all the VI references we've seen recently and Tabata's love for VI...

The game is much bigger than Horizon... both in size and scoope

Sure, I love the scope of this game. Still, I read somewhere, or someone mentioned on here, that Horizon is aiming to be similar in scope/size to Witcher 3...So that is pretty massive. I am sure in terms of world size, this will be pretty substantially bigger than W3.

Let's see I'm still rolling with Hooded guy being the main villain. I see this dude sort of like Izaya from durarara, he helps the bros when he feels like it and fucks them over when he wants to.

Yeah Izaya is a perfect comparison.

I am in total agreement with you. it has to be hooded guy

Finally got to watch these - look great. Altissia looking a lot better than the part we got in Platinum. Chadarnook!

Almost can't believe they got the air car working so well. The ability to buzz roads/fields/towns as well as fly at height is awesome.

Tabata coming through with the save after that X1 conference kerfuffle.

Yeah, this is the vibe that he has given me. I'm not sure who the final villain would be, but he gives me the impression that he's a wild card, someone who is sometimes on Noctis' side, and sometimes against depending on what the situation is.

There is also the issue where Luminous Engine has put up numerous development roadblocks for the team and Horizon is on an engine that's already seen two high profile releases - it's a much more mature engine, basically.

Since I'm also #TeamHoodedMan regarding main villain talk, there's something very interesting on the Kingsglaive official site:

http://kingsglaive-jp.com/staffcast/

Looking at those names we'll find... Ravus Nox Fleuret. Now it seems his VA (Yuichi Nakamura) it's same person who voice hooded man on E3 2013 trailer.

If this is all true then he is totally connected to Luna. Possibly her brother.

PLEASE BE TRUE

I think we speculated awhile back that it was Stella/Luna's brother.

what is even more telling is where he is on the split.
