Biscuit of choice? I'll start with the GOAT.

So it should be decided around 6 am, right? Or is Castle Point big enough to turn everything around?

2-3am is the key hour, according to the Guardian. By 6am it'll all be over.

American sweets are okay, fizzy drinks not bad either, but their chocolate is downright awful.

Every time I've visited the states I cringe in disgust at the chocolate I have to eat.
They sell Hershey's in that Simm's sweet shop I mentioned. I picked a bag up of them for me and the others at work. It was disgusting. As far as chocolate is concerned, Cadburys still remain king. Although I do still disapprove of them selling out to Kraft, and changing the recipe for the creme eggs.

Hobnob.

Some Scots are Irn Bru nuts, but some Scots are crazy and have no teeth. I enjoy the odd can but very rarely these days.

Yup. I realise my experience is limited to a grand total of about 2.5 weeks in the US, but still, eurgh.

The best sweets ever.

You can buy these at the local shop, and I'm in Cornwall. About as far away from Scotland you can get in Britain. They are great.

That shop owner has to be a closeted Scot. Beware.

But that's awesome as far away as you can get lol. Corris, visit Cornwall.

I'm sat here imagining thousands of MI5 agents furiously rubbing out Leave votes and replacing them with Remain. Surely the most practical way to fix an election

Don't be silly, the substance within the Leave box dissolves it after 10 minutes. They only have to check the Remain boxes.

Nah it really is that bad. Americans cannot do chocolate right which is strange given they have tons of selection of sweets and fast food.

Hersheys is terrible, it's nothing but a mistake.

Well apparently Lancaster where I live is a bellweather town for the referendum according to ITV news. I'm not sure how they worked that out but our result is expected around 3am. Tonight will be fun!

I like:
Jaffa Cakes, Twiglets, BBQ flavoured Hula Hoops, Pickled Onion Monster Munch, Ready Salted Lays (not walkers #StayInEU), Cheese and Onion Taytos, Terrys Chocolate Orange, Cadburys Fruit and Nut, Coca-Cola, Chocolate Fudge Brownie Frijj, Phish Food, Cookie Dough, Strawberry Cornetos and Cream Eggs around Easter.

There's a lovely little passage in Notes from a Small Island where Bill Bryson talks about the first time he tried British chocolate, after being brought up on the likes of Hershey's. I wonder if I can find it...

Based on? Most of the people I've spoken to are Remain. Could go either way really.

Because most of the people I've spoken to are leave haha

Where you from mate? I'm from Northumberland

also, all this sweet talk whilst I'm doing a 24 hour fast isn't helping :(

I spilt a Double Dip in my Lego box. Thus, everything smelt of it, and it became an odour so prevalent that I actually grew to hate it. And my Lego :(

Middlesbrough. I think Remain will win and I don't think it's gonna be as close the exit polls make it out to be. The youth of the UK seem firmly in the Remain camp and I think that will be decisive. We saw with the Scotland independence vote how unwilling people are to vote for change, and they actually had compelling arguments to go it alone.
