By the way anyone hate these in school?

Folk used to break them in their mouth just enough to then fire half of them like a slingshot lol. (they are sweet rings on a stretchy string)

bite off half use other half as a deadly weapon using the string stretched in your mouth to take aim and target your prey.

I sold these in school for quite a decent profit, I was the local armsdealer.

Yes I sold at a high price, to strangers.

I love how the Pencilgate morons think a warehouse full of people rubbing out Xs is a more effective way to rig it than, say, dumping the votes in an incinerator and replacing them with a batch of Remains.

People are morons. During the indieref, some yes supporters were crying Bloody Mary because a clip at a vote count in Dundee showed mixed ballots being placed on a "No" table. They hadn't been counted yet as they are being unpacked. Some people still kicked up shit afterwards even though Dundee was overwhelmingly "yes".

People clutch at straws.

My man, you know the trade.... Except you were arming those fuckers lol.

Are you gonna tow the island off to America if Leave wins, or how does this work? Does Ireland (the rest of it) stay here, or...?

We've got a big barge pole that we're going to dig into Cherbourg from Brighton for leverage. Then we're going to sort of pole vault westward across the north atlantic.

Ireland's coming with us.

There was also a fire alarm and people lost their shit.

Middlesbrough. I think Remain will win and I don't think it's gonna be as close the exit polls make it out to be. The youth of the UK seem firmly in the Remain camp and I think that will be decisive. We saw with the Scotland independence vote how unwilling people are to vote for change, and they actually had compelling arguments to go it alone.

Hope you're right!

Funny how all the pencilgate morons are leave voters too

And lo the dirty democratic deed is done. I'd love to stay up tonight and watch the results come in, but I'm at work at 6am tomorrow. Hoping to compromise and get up a little earlier so I can least catch a little of the coverage with my housemates.

We used to put those in between our teeth and then pull back the elastic and they would break and go firing off, was great fun in class. Lol.

I doubt the weather affected the morning voters in and around London because it stopped raining at about 8am. I voted on my way to the station at like 7.45am and there were a small number of people hovering. Hopefully the weather won't turn to shit this evening.

Obviously I voted Remain.

So far London is experiencing very high turn out - much higher than the general election. People are having to queue at stations which are normally empty.

That's surprising given the tube madness this morning after the thunderstorm.

Or maybe lots of people just decided to stay home for the day and have free time.

Nicola Sturgeon didn't want an EU referendum

Im not saying she did i was just replying to the person asking Whats next after this, she does seem to turn anything she can into another excuse for another referendum though, then again i am in England and that most likely how the media and news puts it across with their editing.

Can anyone explain what this "93 year old mum voting" meme is all about. Twitter is full of it right now, and I had to add "93yr" to my mute list.

The SNP don't have a majority in Scot Parl anyway and didn't even campaign on independence ahead of May, it's not gonna happen unless there's a big change.

Edit: the only reason there was a Scottish referendum in the first place is the SNP had it in their manifesto for 2011 and got a majority in Scot Parl.

They aren't just making up mandates.

After giving it much thought I decided to vote remain, polling station was empty but then it usually is, seen the odd few people going in there throughout the day but I imagine more will turn up later on. My general feeling of the in/out debate is that most of the people campaigning on either side are completely unlikable and sadly it was impossible to make both of them lose.
