I haven't followed this because I just have a feeling this is going to be the start of a real shit show, but just to confirm, if we leave our country is fucked right? And that's the direction it's going so far?

Any other bank-GAF employees here? We seem pretty shielded as we don't do international swaps, but our investment arm seems more worried.

How is everyone else holding up?
Yep. Almost our entire Wealth Management business will exit the UK if Leave happens.
HQ will move to Ireland or Germany too. I hear similar stories from former colleagues in other banks.

The shit-tier parties have helped fuck us on this one. People are voting for any alternative to the status-quo as a protest. However, to quote Stewart Lee "Its like shitting your bed as a protest against bad service, then having to sleep in a shitted bed."

Leave back behind again now, but I'm still very proud of my countrymen with respect to the Leave vote so far. Looks like they've not been cowed by the outrageous scaremongering.

Irony of the Tories pinning the last global recession on Labour and now possibly triggering one

That's hyperbolic. The UK is a medium-level player in the world stage these days. The UK will suffer in the short-term for sure, and markets will dip if Brexit wins, but in a few years it will be business as normal.

fuck off ed this is your fault for your useless wibbly-wobbly stance on immigration, being a shit leader at exposing the idelogical nature of cuts for five years and LOSING the last election

Remain's hopes going to rely heavily on London then. Better hope flooding wasn't too bad and turnout was still around 70% there.

Can't sleep now. 😰

Ed Miliband saying he was knocking on constituents doors and they were saying "Leave". I think he got the wrong end of the stick.
