they have the suspects or just 2 suspects?

Probably no suspects. I have a really hard time believing that after all this they were taken peacefully in a traffic stop.

CNN: Shows video and interviews dude showing a single shooter on the ground with a "black Chevy Tahoe". Shooter leaves area on foot.

Fox: Both sniper suspects in custody. Still mentioning the elevated position stuff.

DPD Twitter: Dude leaves a package and speeds away in a Mercedes. Both occupants being questioned after traffic stop.

Shit is a mess.

I cant believe they showed a cop getting killed on fucking TV.

As if the terrorist blowing himself up wasnt bad enough.

Fuck is wrong with the media in this country man.

I think that's the right thing to do. Better to show the world the honest, cold hard truth then to pretend everything is sunshine and rainbows.

Only in the eyes of people who were already racists, who's minds were never going to change anyways. Normal people aren't going to condemn all black people because of the actions of 2 men.

The problem is that a lot of these racist hold powerful positions in the government. They are going to use this as an excuse to not hold cops accountable for profiling black men and even killing them.

edit: it's the same thing with the Orlando shooter. His motivations weren't even religious and Muslims are getting attacked over it because he had a muslim name and he is also brown.

Every cop needs to just quit their jobs and find something else relevant to their interests. There's not a single thing left to provide people. It will save lives on both sides and you can just poll the internet or something on how to handle crime.

I may be late but its crazy how we continue to make the same mistakes we did in the Boston Marathon witch hunt. To think an innocent man could've been killed because social media and irresponsible news outlet plastered his picture everywhere. I don't know much about the legality of this but I expect him to rightfully pursue legal charges.

I'm usually pretty optimistic with stuff

but man, this is fucking surreal

  • Innocent Cops killed and shot
  • Peaceful Protestors fleeing in terror
  • Tensions inflamed (I can't wait till BLM catches heat for this even though they had nothing to do with it)
  • And to top it off it looks like one of the "suspects" wasn't even involved and had his photo plastered all over the media for no reason

Can show a person being executed on TV, but if you show a titty people lose their fucking minds.

And this is Fox News who normally act as some morality police.

Apologies for my earlier post, poor choice of words on my part. It's late and I didn't choose my words wisely. Can't believe what happened to that cop, point fucking blank, just like the two unfortunate victims in Louisiana and Minnesota.

I really don't get these comments. Do people even realize that Texas is one of the last states to allow open carry? Here is a map showing what states allowed open carry in 2014, before Texas finally allowed it recently. So the "Oh right...Texas" mentality really doesn't make sense other than reinforcing a stereotype.

of handguns, sure. open carry of long guns was already legal and regularly demonstrated

This one is on DPD. They distributed that picture with the intent to get it in front of as many eyes as possible to collect tips.

ok, local news just said they're trying to confirm if all suspects are arrested. nothing confirmed so on their end don't trust Fox News.

My heart goes out to the murdered police officers, but no one should be surprised that this is happening. People are fed up with the injustice. That includes violent, unhinged people, unfortunately. I just hope this incident doesn't serve to discredit peaceful protests. I know people will do their damndest to do exactly that.

What an awful week in America =(

He did warned you before it happened and it was unedited though.

Yea that is true.. he felt something could happen and warned of that a couple times. When it did happen it was still shocking to watch...

What did Fox News show?

Footage looking down at shooter.. who was popping in and out of pillars outside a building shooting with a rifle. A cop circles around the pillar and the suspect went the other way.. came right up behind the cop and shot. Cop dropped... suspect moved to the next pillar. They have not mentioned it at all and I do not know if we know the cop is dead. They talked about it being live footage.. it was very strange to watch. I sure hope the officer is ok but it looked bad.

Did the Fox news really show a cop getting killed live? Was it a sudden death that would be hard to cut out of a live broadcast or did they replay on to get some easy viewership? Fucked up either way

Tbf Fox News did warn that before hand that it was graphic unedited footage that could go bad. They did pull back earlier when one of their people heard gunshots.

"Fog of war" and all that. It's still an active and fluid investigation so reports are going to be all over the place at various sources.
