I originally liked Rubin's approach of seemingly open inquiry, not marginal politics, but I'm increasingly skeptical that there's any liberalism of substance anymore.

The fact that they keep presenting gamergate as "the gamers fighting back against censorship" without even bringing up the harassment origin and the totally made-up conspiracy around Zoe Quinn is increasingly conspicuous. Not even bringing it up to debate that detail and how people view it? Did no one tell you? Do you really think it's "the gamers" and not a minority fringe of gamers united by their zeal to troll feminists?
