I love it when Conservative complain about Hollywood stars..

but they'll break mails scraping the bottom of the pot to find whats left of conservatives in Hollywood to parade around.

How bad was it? Politico made it sound pretty bad but I felt like their reporting on the protests yesterday exaggerated events somewhat.

I mean it wasn't a great thing to happen during a very moving nomination, but they're gone now and not impacting any of the other speeches. So way better than yesterday for me.

I have a FB friend in that stupid Bernie tent. She's a white privileged girl, owns a business that her family paid for. She's an attendee not a delegate.

She's posting crap like "OCCUPY DNC!", "VOTE STEIN" and so on, along with photos of her fellow protestors, who seem to be mostly posting shit online.

are you implying scott baio is not a spectacular actor and cornerstone of american culture?

Yay for Debra Messing giving a little less bi erasure.

Fun fact: Saying LGBTQ doesn't really count as bi visibility if speakers keep on saying 'gay or straight'.

Live and Let Die?

Casey Kasem would be having a fit at these music choices.
Unless he specifically requested that song when he came out, someone should be fired. That's a really distasteful song selection for someone talking about 9/11.

And someone mentioned it earlier, but people in the convention hall need to shut the fuck up and listen.

I'm sure it will, but it s still a weak argument to elect someone for president.

No, it isn't.

There is significant empirical evidence on the positive effects of diversity in representation. Nothing weak about it. It's one of the many features of the candidate, and will continue to be, and has shaped her policy positions for decades.

I'm so scared for Bill tonight. He could totally derail the whole convention or he could deliver the best speech of his life.

He's never failed (in speeches) before. Both his 2008 and 2012 convention speeches were gold, and this one is with Hillary as the candidate.

It's going to be fantastic.

I think the reason 9/11 talk seems to weird to some people is that we all sort of stopped talking about it. But taking care of the first responders as they get fucked over again and again is something we shouldn't have stopped talking about.
