Actually, just like Deus Ex: Human Revolution was a better Metal Gear Solid than Metal Gear Solid 4, it's looking like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be the same to Metal Gear Solid V.
I wonder how much story focus there will even be besides the opening cutscene. 4 player coop and no one talking during the trailer makes me suspect it will mostly be kept to some audio snippets or something.
YesNah.
I'm sure they'll have as many lines as snake did at least in V.I wonder how much story focus there will even be besides the opening cutscene. 4 player coop and no one talking during the trailer makes me suspect it will mostly be kept to some audio snippets or something.
If we ignore the misusage of the MGS IP, it actually doesn't look too bad. But I wager a lot of people will be too angry to get past that.
Set directly after the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Survive sees the members of Militaires Sans Frontières not killed in that games finale transported through wormholes into an alternate universe, where theyre forced to battle a force of crystalline zombies and, it seems, at least one Metal Gear itself.
They spared no expense and called in Kiefer Sutherland to record 4 lines for all characters.I'm sure they'll have as many lines as snake did at least in V.
For a disposable spin-off, no less.this shitty trailer music version of a blind faith song is blowing my mind. I didn't know shit this bad could exist
That was an aspect I imagined for a Metal Gear that took place after 4. Guess I got my wish..........they could've just made a cool military sandbox slightly iterating on V with some tighter menu management stuff, some more interesting environments, and a side story. It wouldn't have changed the world but it would've been fine. Why this
Even Call of Duty is sticking with zombies despite taking now being straight-up sci-fi and in outer space....SPACE!HAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
That couldn't be more perfectly Konami if it tried. A co-op zombie survival game. That's so fantastically generic and stale that I'm actually impressed.
Good going, Konami. Keep giving me material.
Judging by some replies in this thread such as fuck Konami this is true. Don't forget fancy music and a better cut trailer. How much you want to bet that if that wormhole alternate dimensions crystal zombies thing was in a Kojima Meta Gear, people wouldn't be laughing at it and they'd be throwing around "best writer in the industry" like normal?
