After doing some experimentation with my pc connected to my 4k, 1080p looks better than 1440p on a 4k.

Did the same thing and 1440p is a noticeable improvement. Still far from that native res look but very noticeably above the quality of 1080p.

As much as I'd appreciate a 60fps UC4 SP, think of the inevitable backlash of this approach when people start complaining that Neo mode looks exactly the same like the old one...

To make this thing work, they have to be able to show the advantages of PS4 Neo Mode on a single screenshot.

I think youtube videos are more important than screenshots these days

1440p scales weird. 1080p is an exact quarter of the resolution. So every pixel perfectly upscales to 4 pixels.

1440p definitely doesnt. I'll try some more experimentation when I get home I'm Nov.

I'm iffy on the idea of a direct sequel starring the same characters, but you're right, the game will absolutely look stunning on NEO.

I don't know, I think so. SSM is really only matched by Naughty Dog and Guerrilla Games.

ND and SSM are probably tied but SSM just outdoes every other studio when it comes to spectacle.

A Poseidon or Chronos-esque fight with Neo graphics? It would absolutely floor everyone.

killzone and infamous run with an unlocked framerate, they shouldnt need a patch. and i fully expect older first party games to get a patch.
