I am suddenly reminded of the statement "Perception is reality" I am no expert but i am willing to bet this is gonna hurt Hillary, how badly i dunno. Hopefully she can get past this because the prospect of a Trump presidency is terrible.

BREAKING FOOTAGE OF SENATOR BERNIE SANDERS LAUNCHING INTO THE RACE

So fit, so healthy!

Sure but Bernie hasnt had these health perception issues.

Trump is a health disaster in the making too, but he too hasnt shown poorly on public regarding his health so far.

It's a perception thing.

It would come up no matter what. We don't truly expect Bernie to never sit down or cough, right? I mean by default his age would make him a perfect target for these attacks.

Yes. Most people can withstand the dangers of a sunny day.

That's pretty adorable, because the notion precludes itself on the "Hillary is weak/dying" narrative being based on actual hard evidence and not "she sat down once"

80 + degrees and 40% humidity is not a normal sunny day. >_>

Honestly I recall HillGaf attacking Bernie for his age in the primaries. : /
I can see it being an issue that would come up with Bernie's nomination.

Why does this get treated seriously? "Health perception issues"? This is the most polite dressing of an alt-right conspiracy theory I've seen yet.

Not good.

Hopefully she's okay, though...don't want either candidate to fall ill or anything like that.

She's already OK and walking around. I don't know if she had stuff to do after this.

How many of those are 68 and running a huge presidential campaign?

Yeah, people are being ridiculous. I have a relative around the same age who is very active and healthy but if she doesn't get a proper breakfast she has blood sugar issues and this same kind of thing would happen to her.

She's not dying or medically unfit for anything, but this exact thing would be happening to her a couple of times a month if she was flying around from state to state and hitting up morning events without getting enough or the right food.

Is she diabetic?

So is it being complacent or ignoring it?

I've did a lot of studies on polling trends, voting results and such when I was in my IA path. To say this is meaningless is to be ignorant of the undecideds. While it would be great to say that people who aren't decided by now are idiots, neither candidate is projected to get a majority of the popular vote. Nobody knows who the fuck Kaine is, not the ones who show up to the polls on Election Day and decide in the booth. It's not an insignificant number.

I'll vote for her corpse before I'd ever vote for Trump, but you and I aren't the votes that matter in this election. The rise of the alt-right as a powerful influence. While studies have shown that the left has registered voters at the same or more than the right, I know that there are a lot of people who are alt-righters who have found an identity and will come out at a higher rate than what is projected. It remains to be seen if the undocumented left voters will outpace those.

You'll excuse me for being concerned. There's entirely too much at stake.
This post moderately mirrors my thoughts and feelings about all of this.

Just saw the videos of her coming out of Chelsea's apartment, looking all smiles and sunshine. Nice! :) I'm inclined to think that she doesn't suffer from any serious medical issues. But with the constant barrage of attacks from the alt-right concerning her "health," the coughing fit and this only seems to help further their agenda with those already on their conspiracy bandwagon. This video will most definitely get a lot of airtime though, which is unfortunate, but what can you do in a medium that thrives in controversies - little or not.

I believe Hillary will pull through.

I hope.

America, please don't elect the orange buffoon. Be reasonable and think of the minorities, as well as the rest of the world lol.

It's a combination of click bait news journalism invading conventional journalism (gotta pay the bills!) and really bad timing sadly.

Combined with social media virality.

It's neither. It's acknowledging that it's a thing that happened, but something that won't have a real effect on anyone outside the circle it's already prominent in.

If Hillary's health conspiracies were going to make a different, they would have by now. And some fainting episode isn't going to change that, especially when she walks out just an hour later perfectly fine. The alt-right has rose to power, but Trump has shown that they don't have the power to win a general election, since Trump is still trialing way behind in electorate polling, and fringe-based conspiracy theories won't change that. It won't win back the key minorities he needs, not the moderate base that he needs, and etc.

And no one will care because we might possibly get president Kaine if the worse ever happen. The bad news is 'optics' and the good news is now we are one week closer to the debate and we aren't talking about emails. This is all noise in the grand scheme of things.

It literally just happened we can't know what this will do to either campaign yet.

I know if it happens again it'll be really bad though.

We may not know for sure, but we have an idea since it's not a theory that's been taking seriously by anyone outside the alt-right and hard-leaning right, and I don't see how this will be any different than her "massive" coughing fit from before.

Agreed. If she faints again, maybe. But this will get 2 days on CNN and no newspaper or magazine coverage. Its a small dent but no car wreck.

Btw is anyone going to make Trump release a health report he didn't write himself? That in itself is both suspicious yet normal Trump.
