Whites are having their influence reduced each and every election, but they aren't yet to a point where the vote there can't swing an election to a candidate who is exclusively for them. In fact, there are some of the more educated and still conspiratorial variety that sees this as their last great chance to exert control and influence. See the Supremes.

Romney was polling better with whites overall at this stage in '12, and still got bodied. Whites would have to come out in an unprecedented amount for Trump (something that isn't being shown due to his polarizing nature) or win over a large amount of minority support (lol).

I'm pretty sure you are underestimating the effect that undecideds have. The polling right now is looking okay. Not great, but okay. We haven't even had a debate yet, and the closest thing to it showed the moderator being a flaccid penis in the presence of Trump and grilling Clinton on emails, even when the concern by the right going in was that he wouldn't be fair because he was associated with the Clinton Foundation. Will that influence future moderators? Hopefully. Not guaranteed.

Polling is better than okay. Great may be overselling it, but it's better than just okay. Trump is trialing far behind, has never been ahead of Clinton once in electorate polling, and is doing abysmal with key minority groups that most people agree is needed to actually win the election.

Again, I've worked with these people. Know them. Have family like that. I have some experience in what I say. Perception can easily become reality. Remember that.

I haven't followed the discussion about heat, but if I had to guess, the argument is that Hillary had issues with "only" 80 degree weather? If that is the case, then I am kind of inclined to counter by pointing out that how some people handle in certain weather is different than others. Some people run hotter than others. I run hot, for instance - and where 80 degree weather is anything but pleasant for me, I find myself feeling quite comfortable at fairly low temps.

Hillary being physically unfit (whether that is true or not) and talking about that does not equal "TRUMP 4 PRESIDENT!".

As a young healthy person, if you're hydrated and properly clothed, 80 f (not even 27 C) is not a problematic temperature in any way. I mean the ideal temperature is around 22 C, so it's not that far from it.

If you're old, not healthy, wearing improper clothes or forgot to drink water, I guess it depends.
