You do know what fainting is right? When you heard she almost fainted, what did you expect to see? Your muscles go limp.

That's fainting. It happens to perfectly healthy people sometimes.

It does, but you could imagine a spell where it was a brief stumble and she was OK right away and left as a precaution. Not where they have to drag her into a car.

In the NFL, once the Ray Rice video came out everyone lost their shit even thought they were told what happened. Seeing is worse than what a lot of people picture.

Next press conference, Clinton should pretend to fall over and jump back up like, "Just kidding!"

That video has me a bit worried. Still I wouldn't mind a Tim Kaine presidency in a worse case scenario.

I don't think it should worry you that much at all. If we see this again and again in the coming days/weeks then I would start to question her health. I think your last point is apt though, regardless of optics I still wouldn't vote for Trump because of this. She very well might have some medical issue that she is hiding, anything is possible. Trump though, is 100% unacceptable for POTUS.

How does one candidate having a possible health issue supposed to make people want to vote for the candidate with an obvious personality disorder?

I don't believe this will get as much traction as Trump supporters or cynical people think it will.

Remember when Bush Sr. threw up on the Prime Minister of Japan and then fainted?

He's still alive and kicking.

Then there's W, who choked on a pretzel and fainted.

Are ppl still in denial about her health and writing it off as conspiracy theories just for political reasons??

Unless she has some verified chronic illness or poor health, yes. A fainting spell is not a death sentence.

The right has been making an issue of her health over largely baseless reasons. A cough or a faint are unfortunate coincidences that some will claim victory on, but aren't alone enough to suggest failing health.

The entire internet is going to play armchair doctor over this.

This is way worse. Fainting while in a seated position sends off alarm bells in my head.

as apposed to fainting while standing?

What gets me is that nobody is turning to look to her to see if she's okay..

It's like they were fully expecting her to faint, no surprises.

That's unsettling.

Or... they are experienced and freaking out wouldn't do anything?

I like this theory that Clinton has somehow managed to keep her extreme illness a complete secret for over a year of primaries and general election campaigning. That sounds really reasonable and plausible.

No, I'm saying there were questions about McCain's vitality given his age and medical history (e.g. cancer), but he made his medical history a much bigger deal by selecting a grossly unqualified VP.

The VP filling in for the President in the event of incapacitation is a safety mechanism and obviously not an ideal outcome. Hillary dying and Kaine becoming President is not, "Whoops! Oh well!" but McCain's choice of VP put his health into very serious focus.

I think it's harder to suggest that Kaine is as eminently unqualified or unacceptable as Palin was and that much of the late-election consternation over McCain's health was because of Palin.
Ah ok, didn't think about the succession part.

Man, that was really last second. Wonder if just taking a seat for a minute could have prevented that.

I was thinking the same thing when the video came out. The SS reaction is basically "oh she's going down, ok."

She has people looking to help her, but the people you see rushing are there to protect her from a threat from the outside. It is hard to do that when you have your back to the outside. Plus, I'm sure they are trying to block cameras.

She's evil!
Oh, AND she's not trust worthy.
Also, she's not healthy!

She's also mentally impaired!

There is CLEARLY something wrong with her....this isn't just allergies or a cough she has.

Pre emptive defensive posts like these are almost as bad as conspiracy "she is dying" posts.

Really, if you are just gonna walk into a topic, shitpost and leave then might as well not come in.

Yeah. This didn't surprise anybody on that team.
It's as if they had a plan of exactly what to do and executed it without hesitation.

She left early because she wasn't feeling well. Of course they were planing to help her if she needed it. Its not like this was her leaving as planned and then just collapsing

The video showed a woman who was, at the least, feeling faint and weak.

That's it. She was also a smooth, graceful, and hardworking Secretary of State for around 4 years; has ran an uncompromising presidential campaign over the past year and a half or so; and generally, there have been no overt signs that she's dealing with any abnormal health issues.

The existence of a prevalent narrative on the right that she's dealing with some horrible health problems doesn't negate that. She has a coughing fit, she's caught in a moment of weakness, whatever else; these are things that happen, and while politically inconvenient, can be worked around.

I find the lack of intelligence in this post unsettling.

Are we sure DpadD hasn't had a seizure at his keyboard?
