This is really my only concern, not too bothered if it's not fixed but it'd be nice if it was less jarring. It's even more noticeable in the bit where you go challenge and recruit a drivatar, at the corner just before the finish line the foliage suddenly loads in. Probably exacerbated by the massive straight just before it that you can bomb down at 250mph lol.

they work everywhere. buy the Amazon code but change your Xbox region to new Zealand when you redeem it. should be available to play earlier

maybe Microsoft could open that up with a way to verify that PC and console are in the same household?? not sure how though without leaving an open door for vpn stuff. A dongle that unlocks the option for a few hours when put into the console and pc one after another, but that would silly somehow...

The preload was about a week and a half ago. The game size is around 40GB IIRC.
Edit: 47.3GB, just checked
I'm playing on PC, but also have an Xbox One so I preloaded it there. I figure if there's no preload I can replay through the intro and a few early races while the PC downloads and then sync my progress thanks to play anywhere.

Fuck.... Well this is going to get expensive now... I figured I could share between my wife and I at very least. These stupid digital lock/account/whatever crap really screws families, I'm so sick of having to spend a fortune just so I can play a game with my wife and kids. Everyone needs their own system, TV, online subscription, game, dlc etc.

You can't? I.E you can't set up family view on one PC, let others play the game there, and login to another PC and play it with your own account?
Would it not work if your wife plays on her account on the Xbox (under you master account) but you play on the PC?

Yes, its Play Anywhere, if you use the same Xbox Account on your PC you'll have the game there as well. Its like crossplay on Playstation.
If someone is logged into a different account on the home xbox and you are logged into the account you purchased the game with on the PC it definitely works because i did just this yesterday with Recore to test. If you're logged into the same account on both, it tells you that you've already got it open elsewhere and to close it.

Yes. I bought it with my account, and on my home xbox my kids can play the game with their own account and i can play it on my PC on my account.

With contradicting accounts on this, I suppose we won't truly know until Horizon 3 launches. Though I'm tending to believe AssassiN more, since it seems like it should logically work.

It's cross save and cross play. Your progress carries over.
Progress is shared. Same save file in the cloud.
I have just tried it again to make sure and it does indeed work as i've described it with Recore. So theoretically it should with Forza (but maybe a multiplayer title will be different).

Contacted MS Support last night. I had preordered the Deluxe version but now decided I wanted the Ultimate version. They hooked up a refund immediately.
Now I still prefer the PSN method were you just pay the difference if you change your mind, but still, was a painless process.
