1. Has anyone seen the PC version in action? How much horsepower is required, I have a 1440p screen and a GTX 780. Desperately hoping for 60fps.

One question, how did you get the 97' M3? It's not on the autoshow and I'm assuming it's not a barnfind?

That's strange I guess it's not in the autoshow. I won it on a level up spin. It's a Horizon Edition which gives me a drift skill boost. You will random have a chance to get a HE car from level up spins. These cars will have boost to XP, Skill or drift. But you can also just get the regular version of the car too. I have the standard 97 M3 too, which is why I thought it was in the autoshow. If you have the cash, you can also bid on one in the auction house. But they are super expensive. I saw a couple for 3-7 million.
I don't want to spoil the barn finds for anyone. I will say there are 15 of them. Don't be like me and set up a barn finds race early on and spoil the surprises of the cars.
There is a perk that lets you use the drone to "mark" things for you. So when you are in a barn find zone you can just get in the drone and zoom around a lot faster to find and mark the barn. You can also use that to find bonus boards. Everything you see as you fly around gets added to the map. Nice little feature. Some of the bucket list events have just the perfect music for them. They did a great job of this in FH2. Loved the event there with the Ferrari 250 with the classical music on the radio. The blueprint bucket list will get interesting as soon as more of us have it. I can see that being used a lot to challenge each other. There doesn't seem to be a way to gift cars sadly. Maybe you can within the car club, but I doubt it. Would have been nice to have a race weekend and give away a Horizon Edition car to someone. Maybe it can be added later, or maybe I wasn't looking in the right spot. Thats a great touch by Playground and T10. Love it when developers do stuff like this.

Have to wait for the HDR patch for DirectX first for HDR to be supported in a Microsoft game. Other devs might do it with nvidia or amd SDKs but I don't expect to see it in games published by Microsoft before it is officially supported by the platform. (Should be coming sometime early next year if I remember correctly)
He Helios grats on the great scores. Is there any news on the PC preload and when it goes live?

Nice, thanks for the info. That is too bad about gifting cars because I REALLY want that E36!! Hopefully it won't be too hard to get in game.

Just realised today that the game basically has the whole fleet of popular Group B rally cars.
Audi Quattro A2 (rally parts on the road quattro), Audi Quattro S1, Metro 6R4, Ford RS200, Peugeot 205 T16 (which can be modded with Group B and pikes peak parts), Lancia Delta S4, Lancia 037, Renault 5 Turbo (rally parts on stock car).
8 Group B cars in an open world game, that's crazy. Not to mention all the modern cars that will have rally parts like the Delta HF, Subaru 22B and so on.

I still don't understand play anywhere. My brother has a X1 and I Win10, if we buy the digital Version with both keys, can we use it on different Gamertags and play at the same time?
It should be like this:
The Xbox One console is the Home Console of Gamertag A. Gamertag A buys the game. Gamertag A can play the game on PC, while Gamertag B plays it on Gamertag A's Home Console.

Wait, but what if I buy it from Amazon? I have to activate it first on my PC, activate my Gamertag on the X1 of my brother, so my brother can play it on his X1? Pretty complicated, why not just allow it or not?
How do you think crossbuy works on PS4/Vita? You buy the game through the xbox store on gamertag: MurkyZebra, and that person can play on their PC or Xbox using that gamertag.
Crossbuy AFAIK applies to buying digitally, I don't think it applies to disk.

With Crossbuy on PS4 it is instantly locked to your account.

Popping in here to say FH3 is SUPER amazing. Posted my review (on Indian Video Gamer) in the review thread. You all will love it. It managed to keep me away from Overwatch. I just wish they got Jungle to do a song. I associate The Heat and Busy Earnin with FH2. Also the opening is so good. (dont know if the demo has the opening as I just played the full game for review directly).
The code you can buy on amazon should give you both versions for the Gamertag/Account that will redeem the code.
Just change "buying" from the quoted posts to "unlocking".
In short: The account that redeems the code and wants to play on PC should have the Xbox One set as the home console.
Microsoft support is fine with refunds and have short wait times for online chat, just hit them up. There should be an upgrade option implemented however.
Not sure if I am mixing it up, but I think I remember that someone contacted the support and canceled his pre-order to be able to upgrade. Might be worth a try?
Yeah, they should be able to cancel it for as long as it's a pre-order. Then you can re-order it afterwards.
Aren't there enough reviews out there written by "fans of the genre"? I'm glad some editors prefer to give reviews to people less familiar with it.
There are millions of people out there who currently think they have absolutely no interest in ever playing a racing game. For those people it would mean a helluva lot more to see a positive review from someone who also isn't into racing games, than yet another review from someone who already knows the ins and outs of what to expect.
It's like sports games for me - I couldn't care less about them, but if I saw someone review Madden who had never played a football game in his life and he gave it an incredibly positive review, it would make me far more likely to give it a shot than the 100th review by someone else who's played it every single year.

Anyone know when the early access to the game is up in the UK, is it midnight or some-other time?
I had already pre-ordered it to charge my CC, then I cancelled it because I had bought Microsoft currency and wanted to use that instead. I'm afraid if I cancel the pre-order again that something might happen to my account.
I've recently gone all in on digital and I can't afford that.

I could understand this concern with Sony but not Microsoft. Xbox support has always been great to me for stuff like this.
Plus, it's not like you're just doing a chargeback. You're asking them to move some credit around so you can buy a more expensive version of the game.
You get the code for having played Halo:MCC or Halo 5 on xbox one. The roll out is slow. If you qualify you should get it. Some one posted that if you check the xbox app on pc the message might be there. Give it a shot, no harm in trying.

Wonder if MS will ever make Win10 only versions. I've no interest in getting an XO and pissed that Amazon are charging £12 more for the combined XO/W10 version than the standalone XO disc.
Buy it from a different digital country storefront for the Xbox One, you'll still get it on PC.
