I'm so into this concept. Looks like so much fun. I'll be there day one for sure.

That said, does anyone else feel like the hardware/controller design and everything looks really...un-Nintendo? I don't know why. Feels more like an NVidia console!

I never had time for Skyrim, so this seems like the perfect time to try it. The system itself looks great aside from the detachable controllers possibly being a bit small.

I'm intrigued Nintendo but I want a dual screen accessory. Can't go back to single screen anymore. Make it happen Nintendo or you'all get too many people accustomed to the 3DS bitching and moaning.

Over the course of 3 minutes, I went from "Nintendo Switch, huh" to being in love with the name. Just has such a pleasant ring to it, and communicates the console well.

Another upcoming failure by Nintendo, underpowered = no big third party support again.

The appeal of a handheld hardcore gaming machine is very limited as well.

Disappointing.

Looks pretty good. Now all I need to know is the price.

One thing I still don't get though. How are you supposed to play those games with half a controller? Games usually need more buttons and/or two sticks.

Eh, not what I was hoping for honestly, but I kinda knew this is what it would be from almost every single rumour. I'll wait to see what some of the games look like, curious about if there is a performance post from the home dock as well.

I actually don't mind the name though, I think it's simple and catchy.

Nintendo did it imho

did what?

This looks like a more refined concept of the wii u.

Also those controllers during the multiplayer sessions

And just because im on a roll with the negativity, should we be worried there was only 2 3rd party titles shown (if i counted correctly, skyrim / nba).

I really don't get it.

I've got my tablet if I want fun on the go. I don't want to have to carry around another device and controller attachments! I'm happy waiting until I'm at home for a console experience.

Clever technology though in that it's scalable. And I'll get one simply for Mario and Zelda, obviously. And hopefully Metroid.

I am sold...my hype was dead for the longest time but dammit that trailer was fantastic. I did not expect to see what we saw. When's the Direct Nintendo? Give it to me.

You're not going to meet up with a bunch of people to play a video game in a place where there is no TV present.

I just don't buy that.

Everything else is fine.

I agree, that kind of assumption is mostly false. People aren't gonna bring their Nintendo Switch to public places and be like look people let's play video games. Our society is too focused on our own phone devices to make that work. But I do like the portableness of the console for my own use.

So basically everything we thought it was. Controls still seem a little small but at least there is the standard controller. Wonder if that dock is any special.

Pretty sure that wasn't the same Splatoon we have on the Wii U. Unless they implemented new hairstyles without me noticing.

At first glance I love everything about it so far except it looked like the portable controllers might be really small when not docked to the screen. Thank god for the pro controller at home.

Other than that it looks like it's going to be amazing. I can't wait to get more info.
