These aren't all racists. People hate the establishment.
It's not even just that. Clinton has had a bad rap (regardless of accuracy) for decades. Sure, it's easy to throw the race, sex, or hippie card, but despite those being strong factors it still just comes down to that people have been told year after year that this is an unlikeable person, with this election driving that in.
Benghazi and the emails stuck so well due to fueling further that image of her, and kept it up in the forefront.
Trump has done, said, and lied about worse with actual evidence, but he's only been in the public image in this capacity for what, the past couple years? And while he was pulling the shit that he was or that was coming to light, he and his party were telling people what theyou expected and likely wanted to hear about Clinton.
Americans, hell...people, want a show and to be vindicated on their beliefs. And this election has delivered on that front by Trump and the Republican party after decades of buildup.
Maybe people aren't voting, but then they always aren't. Maybe the majority could be racists, but then Obama had his full dual terms. People can hate establishment, but then they ask more and more from the government and a man who represents corporations (aka the driving force of corruption in the establishment) is the person on the other side.
