Trump at 92% on forecast. Mathematically he could still lose but I guess this is it? It's over even though not everything is close to being decided?
 
538: Looking at the map of Wisconsin, Clinton is in big trouble. Much of the vote from Milwaukee is in, and Clinton is still down by nearly 3 percentage points statewide. If Trump wins here, Clinton is in big trouble nationally.

Sanders could have beaten Trump, but he also could have put other states in play that aren't in play right now.

He would probably be fine continuing not to release his taxes since Trump also wouldn't. Tapes of him praising Sandinistas would not play super well. His inability to connect with black voters would absolutely fuck him without the strongest GOTV operation in party history to get millenials out to the polls.

Sanders wasn't magic. He was unpolished in the primary. He wasn't going to make angry white people less angry.

At this point, it seems like it. I'm surprised, I'm genuinely surprised and horrified. It's 2016, and we live in a world where people know so much blind hate that a man spewing vitriolic nonsense, a man preaching racism, a man so blatantly sexist, a man that should've had not shot whatsoevever at coming anywhere NEAR power, is actually winning this right now.

It's breaking my heart.

I hate to say it, but this is what happens when you don't deal with the problem of "deplorables" beyond just shaming and name calling. You push, and they push back. Whether you like it or not, they have the exact same rights as you, and they're showing that tonight. It's depressing, but we have no one to blame but ourselves.
 
I don't think Trump is gonna be the end of the world, and we'll survive the 4 years, but as a minority, this is legit depressing. The country is voting in a racist in 2016.

Lets ditch the hate for one second. There are a lot of Democrats that were Bernie fans... They don't like Washington as much as the Trump people do.

I am not saying racism is not a part of it. But the problem is deeper then just writing it off as pure racism.

A vote for Trump is a vote for Anarchy against the establishment.
 
Realistically how bad can it get for minorities?


I have been worried about a Trump presidency for a while but now that it is a reality how much worse can it get?
 
Having so many conversations with friends and family about how surprising all of this is. It's crazy and everyone is trying to come to terms with it.
