I'm feeling pretty down about this, but I'm glad that I live in a liberal area... I take some comfort in that. Hearing some suicide talk in this thread, please people seek help if you're serious. We've survived 8 years of Bush and his warpath... we can make it through this.

It's gonna suck to be a minority for the next few years but at least I live in metro-Atlanta which is very diverse. As long as I live in my community, I feel more safe than if I lived in the Midwest or something. Good luck to all my Muslim and Latino/Hispanic buds. Stay strong people!

I really hope that the next president of the US stops starting wars around the world and keep their influence out of some countries. We are in the most peacefull time in modern era yet the US keeps spending money like the world is at war.

This sucks. Hopefully, Democrats learn a very hard lesson and actually show up for mid-term elections in 2018. However, I doubt it.

Welp, I can only hope at this point that Trump isn't as crazy as he has portrayed himself.
Remember, he used to be a Democrat and has been good friends with the Clinton's in the past. It's only recently that he "switched" to the Republican side.
Also, don't forget his own quote that if he ever ran for president, that he would do it as a Republican because "they're some of the stupidest people on the planet" (unless that was a fake quote)
So... there's hope? :\
Also, fuck the DNC for not going for Bernie, who would have won this election handily (and kinda fuck Bernie for calling himself a 'socialist' when he isn't one).
Thankfully though, here in CO looks like we passed new propositions to allow unaffiliated voters (like me) actually vote in our primary...
