The fact that she lost a ton of ground in Black and Latino votes says a lot. You had minorities switching from Dem to Rep. I don't know that you can peg those votes she lost on people being racist. If there's going to be a post-mortem here on GAF in the wake of a likely Trump victory then I hope there's more tolerance of alternate-dissenting views on this site. I despised Trump but I respected the right of anyone to vote for him. Many Trump supporters on here were practically driven off the forum, which I thought wasn't right or fair. Similarly Bernie supporters tended to be shouted down during the primaries.

As long as a poster is respectful and not writing inflammatory comments (sexism, racism, the usual altie shit) then they shouldn't be banned for their posts.

Tolerance of views that are not your own is something a lot of people on this forum need to learn.

I am a Democrat and I voted for Clinton. I understand where non-racist Trump voters are coming from. From this thread alone the majority of far left Democrat posts don't get it. RACIST RACIST RACIST is all they spout.

Glenn Beck an Brokaw nailed it earlier tonight. A huge portion of America hates Trump but they still voted for him because they hate the current government.
